I'm thinking that the Magic does not have many connecting rooms?

When looking at the Magic's deck plans, there appear to be very few connecting rooms especially in the 4A category. Am I reading this correctly. Could they have possibly added more last year when it was being updated?

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

I believe you are correct and the deck plans are updated. We tried to get 4 rooms together where 2 each connected and it wasn't possible, at least in cat 5, so of the 4 adjacent rooms only two connect.

We leave in a few weeks and at least hoping that the verandah walls open up like they do on the Dream and Fantasy.

Thanks for replying. I hope you are able to open up the verandahs like on the Fantasy. That would be awesome to have four in a row all joined into one!!!

Good luck.

We were on the second and third cruises post re imagineering. Our verandah walls were capable of connecting. Have fun.

That's great BCV23. Did you really enjoy the changes made during the re Imagineering? I've never been on a classic ship so I'm wanting to learn as much as possible before we go!

Thanks for answering.

The changes weren't as extensive as we had anticipated. We did like the changes to the shops and lounges. The new carpeting in public areas is gorgeous IMO. I personally liked the old chandelier. The new one is pretty but underwhelming.

Two in our group were in an accessible cabin and hated the changes in it. The Murphy bed, privacy curtain and most of the storage in the closet removed. Someone reported that some of those things were going to be remedied but I have no idea if that happened.

The flow in cabanas is much better IMO.

The crew was great as always.

Thanks for this info as well. Were the cabins updated in things like carpeting and bedding?

Yes, the bedding was great. I loved the duvet. I think the carpeting was new but not positive. I have heard the cabins were gutted so the carpeting had to be new if that was accurate.
