Help please HoJo's or Doubletree suites?

Oh I am going insane trying to work out where to stay and would love some opinions please

This is our first overseas holiday, we are Dh and I plus DS's 15 and 14 and DD 8 and we are going for 14 nights.

I have a booking for HoJo's with the ET rate which works out to $89 a night plus $15 for the rollaway plus taxes so about $130 per night.

I can also book a special with Doubletree with breakfast for $169 plus taxes so $200 per night, pluses are that it has a separate lounge area and a fitness room ( we would use that for sure as we regularly work out at home and was a bit worried about how we would feel if we didn't do any exercise. And obviously we would save about $20 a day by not paying for breaky.

Any opinions and recommendations would be soooo appreciated

We used Doubletree suites about 5years ago and it suited our needs perfectly. We were a
Family of 6. We will be returning this October and I was deciding between
A Disney property and doubletree and in the end we have booked doubletree.
This time we will be a part of 5. One bedroom has 2 beds queens from memory,
And the lounge area has a pull out sofa.We never walked to Disney and caught the ART and some days drove. There is a target near by that stocks some groceries as well.

Although I havent been to either - as a family of five I would prefer the extra space - you will end up with bags and clothes everywhere (or is that just my teens)

While typing I have just thought, you could consider two rooms at Hojo - would be less than one at Doubletree (maybe) - and everyone gets their own bed.

Thanks so much

Looks like Doubletree it is, I am hoping it is a little like Crown Promenade or similar.......nice and clean and modern.

It is still amazes how cheap accommodation is over there compared to here.

Battymum, no I am sure my kids will be dumping their gear everywhere too, messy lil piggies
