New here! Need some help for my first (real) trip to Disney!
I've been using the live chat on Disney's site and can't seem to get a straight answer out of anyone there, so I thought I would ask you guys for some insight! I have a few tickets that have the "no expiration" option. The problem is that they were first used in 1996, when I was a kid. Two tickets only say "Guest" and two only say "Child" while the others say our last name. Is there any way to tell which ticket was mine without actually being at Disney? I'm worried we'll get down there and realize my ticket isn't in the group (that would be my luck.
) Also, has anyone else used the finger scanner after that much growing? Will it even recognize me since I scanned in as a child?Phew, lots of questions! I don't know of anyone who has tried to use their tickets after that big of a time gap, so I don't have anyone to ask advice from. Thanks a ton! |

I am going to move this to the Theme Parks Board. Hopefully CheshireFigment will see it there and be able to help you out. There is also a sticky at the top of that board with a lot of information on tickets.

You can find out how many days are left on each ticket once you're at Disney. Go to concierge at front desk when you check in& they'll help you. This way you'll bE all set for the parks.
As far as the finger scan- Disney doesn't keep that record for so many years. I think they keep it for a few months at most. My DH & I go each year and keep our tix together, so the following year we each use one (no names on them) & never had a problem. So I know they don't keep scan record for more than a year. |

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in this Forum, especially Post #8, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

guest services can also helpyou. finger prints are always the same. and we had old park tickets and we applied them to new AP but they only give you what the tickets were worth when you bought them.. but is better than not using them at all... and can only use one day towards a AP
