The Daily Grind ~ 7/5/12
Mornin'..
Hope all of you had a wonderful and safe 4th of July. Ours was quiet... no fireworks by the city like normal as we have had NO rain since May.... like .09" for the month of June. It was also 102 so too hot to go out and do anything we normally do. We just chilled at home with family time and enjoyed that... Lots of laughs... So, today...supposed to hit triple digits yet again... so I think there will be minimal done again today... Get DD up and off to work... Get DH up for work/works from home today set up boys' wellness/annual physcials for next week set up boys' eye appts for August set up my eye appt for 2 weeks out (during fair week, crush, may need to change that I think it is on the day of rabbit show... make grocery list for tomorrow sort 2010 Disney photos to start working on... prep 2011 family album photos to finish up this month start making school shopping list/college needs

Good morning ladies!
Looks like I beat Lisa!! Stay cool Nan, buffy stay sane. Christy, ya for food tracking, wii fit. Tracking really keeps things in perspective. Got an email tues, that the house is ready to close! Just have to wait for seller!!!!! Party last night was ok. A few people with no manners, ( I didn't invite) then once again at clean up time everyone rushed out "to catch the ferry" ie dbf's mom and her extra guests. Last get together at our house! They come here cause we can do fireworks, then leave a huge mess! No more. Dbfs dad and brother stayed, after they saw how mad I got. Erg! I think the other brother was still scared from when I ripped him a new one about his fireworks being too close to house and the kiddos. So for today. ![]() Dbf up and out, he's dragging worse than a kid today! Since I'm up, go work out. Shower Enjoy some kidless quiet time? Start clean up of house again. Dbf and I cleaned up majority last night. Pack few boxes. Work on a few things, soon as I reclaim my table. Dinner- not sure yet.

Becky, I'd love to have a beach near by and the crashing of Ocean waves to tolerate this dreadful heat!!! We were actually cooler in Disney last week....
At least with us staying home we are tucking money away for our next trip!!! |

Sounded like most had a good 4th of July
Nan- Stay cool we are in the same heat wave I believe. Don't melt Rachal- I am sorry, that stinks Yesterday we went to a parade in the morning (hot!!), had a lazy afternoon, then bbqed with the neighbors, celebrated neighbor's DS birthday, let the kids do sparklers/smoke bombs, and watched the city fireworks (which we can see from our subdivision). Today: The house is pretty clean, just need to do a little laundry! I am determined to get busy scrapping, and get through the Harry Potter section of our trip. While it was one of the highlights of our trip, it is difficult for me scrap for some reason! I can not find a lot of inspiration on line either

Rachel it does help because I actually will eat to little calorie wise when I'm trying to loose. One day I didn't even use 900 cals. which is bad and I know it, I'm aiming for the 1200-1300 mark each day. I actually will eat 3 "meals" today, trying to train my stomach to like food in the am (before 10) and it's not going real well.
I don't like that they only have the wii fit exercises in there not the plus ones too so I'm having to do some figuring out but it's coming out close to a close match of what the wii says. Sorry to hear about the bratty relatives, there's one in every family it seems. Hang in there but YEAH ![]() on the house.

I like adding my cleaning time into my exercise too!! makes it not seem so bad. but then i need to eat more I just treat myself to ice cream or something. just a little. Try a banana and a English muffin or a piece of toast in the morning. I like to work out and then eat, since I'm not a big breakfast fan. it helps get your tummy ready. |

Lisa your girl is growing up!!!
Rachel I too find that exercise wakes up the tummy. My problem is I hate getting up at 5:30 to exercise before work, and when the boys are in school it's abt 5 so I normally do it at 1:30 when I get home and no one is here to laugh at me. I couldn't find that spark had cleaning chores in their exercise list. Rebecca LOVE swimming! hope you all had fun Now I just need to kick them out so I can have the tv for the wii, Ijust gotten started and Tom and Levi showed up for lunch........ so I prepped dinner veggies. |
