Just remembered another fun time with a cast member...it actually happened at DLR while on the tram back to the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Another thing to note is that it was after midnight. Here's a few of the antics he did/said:

- "For those of you awake tonight, WELCOME ABOARD THE MICKEY AND FRIENDS TRAM! For those of you asleep, -whispers- welcome aboard the mickey and friends tram."

- We heard a spot on rendition of the safety spiel in both English and Spanish. Mind you, the Spanish version is done by a young female. Then he threatened to play the regular version.

After each turn, the cast member in the back has to say "Driver your turn is clear" and then the driver usually responds with two honks of the horn. On that night, we heard:
- "Driver, we're clear for lightspeed."
- "Let's take this puppy to 88 miles per hour."
- "Driver, if you're awake, honk twice. If you're asleep, lay on the horn and rest." The horn went a little longer than usual.

- He also reminded us that "The parking lots of the Disneyland Resort have a confusing speed of 14 miles per hour. We're not sure why it's such a random number, but please observe it and yield the right of way to all Disneyland vehicles."

- The cast member began to hum "Rock a Bye Baby".

While we were waiting in line with our dd's (ages 5 and 7) to see Jasmine and Aladdin, we sprayed them down with sunscreen as it was really hot and sunny out. We had been waiting in line to see them and they left to take a short break, so we were waiting a while. When Jasmine and Aladdin came out and our girls finally got to meet them, they got their pics taken and then signed their autograph books. While signing, Aladdin asked the girls if they had put sunscreen on and my dd's enthusiastically told him they had because they didn't want to get a sunburn. Aladdin said "well I don't think your autograph books will get a sunburn!" while he and Jasmine laughed and tried wiping the grease from the sunscreen off their hands. OOPS! LOL

My DS10 was worried about Space Mountain. He hadn't ridden it before and was worried it went upside down. My assurance that it didn't go upside down wasn't enough and he insisted I ask a Disney worker stationed outside SM if the coaster went upside down.

The CM said, "It's not supposed to but if it does, please let me know."

While having her picture taken with the Evil Queen my DM mentioned that one of her kids once called her a mean old witch. The Queen looked at my DM and reply right in character "You must be so proud."

when we were walking to star tours a cm saw a little girl's shirt that had peace signs all over it and he said to her, "nice shirt, it looks like you put all the pieces together" she did not get it.

On one of our MK days I was wearing a shirt with Alice on it, the Queen of Hearts walked up to me and pointed at my shirt and then made an "off with her head" motion

When we were at the sci-fi our server told my son (who was in the front seat) to stop turning around to look at DH and I, he said, "maybe mom and dad came to the drive in for some quiet time away from the kids" I was also texting my mom pictures and a play by play of our trip because she couldn't come with us and he said to me, " did you know that there are three other actual humans sitting at the table to talk to?" When I told him that I was texting my mother who was just dying because she couldn't come with us he said," I hear the MK has a place that can help her out with that I hear that they have 999 but are always looking for one more".

We always try to warn characters before my son goes up, but I don't know of the characters quite understood what my mom said.

The character that is supposed to be a bit surly told my son, "I"m not going to talk to you if you're going to be rude and just walk around without speaking to me."

Oops...my son is autistic....and non verbal.

Not sure if anyone else would have found it funny, but we did.

One day my friend and I were going through bag check at AK, and a security guard who was just overseeing things behind the bag checkers was just saying the funniest things, mostly obviously making fun of the TSA. Like, "You will submit to and enjoy the Disney bag check experience!"

About a year ago my sister and I got in line for Splash Mountain. When we came to the CM who was loading the boats we saw that the seats were very wet (as usual) and we said "2 please with dry seats" and he said "Do you want me to dry it with my A__?" We both bust out laughing but then he apologized (he probably saw himself in the unemployment line) and said that he shouldn't have said that and we said it was ok - it was the best laugh we'd had in a long time.

I've been on the Jungle Cruise enough times that I know pretty much all the jokes by memory. But a few weeks ago I heard one that I hadn't heard before. This was during Gay Days at MK, so maybe some of you were on that boat too!

The tour guide gets out his gun and tells us that he's going to frighten the hippo (or whatever) so that it'll get out of our way. He tells us that those of us with sensitive ears might want to plug them shut.

Then he waves the gun at the animal and yells, "Shoo! Shoo!"

The friend I was with said she's never heard that one either!

Okay one more and then I'll stop. For now. This is sort of a combo castmember/guest thing.

My dad and I were at DTD checking out the Vinylmation store. We passed by the table where they had printed pictures of blank vinylmation templates and put out crayons. A castmember asks me if I want to color. Normally I am all over that (I colored a boss picture of Ursula at POFQ just last September), but I just wasn't in the mood that night. So I said no thanks. He said, "Why not? It's fun!"

I laughed and declined again. This boy, probably around 12 or 13 years old, said, "He tricks you. If you touch the table he makes you color." Completely serious and resentful. I told him that I hadn't actually touched the table and he says, still really serious, "Good."

Oh! Oh! I have a couple more from Prime Time Cafe. But it's not hard to get a good one there.

A few years ago I asked our waitress if they had a bathroom (knowing that some restaurants you have to go outside to find the nearest restroom), and she said, "Yes, dear. We've had indoor plumbing for years."

On a separate trip last September, I was with my sister and a friend of mine. Because we were using TiW, I paid with my cc and my friend gave me cash (my sister and I were "switching off" at meals to make it more-or-less even). The waiter brings over our check after he ran the card and said, "Okay, now everyone needs to thank Rachel for paying! Say, 'thank you, Rachel.'" Maybe you had to be there but for some reason I found it really funny, especially the "parental" way he said it.

At CT for dinner with my then 5 yo DD and twin 18 month old DDs, Belle came to the table and looked at the twins and said something to the effect of "Oh my, they eat like the beast!"

They were pretty messy!

When I was about 7, I remember getting ready to get off one of the rides, I think it was Jungle Cruise, and the skipper said, "Please take all small children firmly by the ears..." and we all cracked up and have repeated it on almost every trip since, even long since we ceased to be small children!

Another from that era was the old chestnut, "If you had a good time, my name is Jim and enjoy the rest of your day at the Magic Kingdom; if you didn't have a good time, my name is Bob and you're at Busch Gardens."
