Yay! Y'all made it to Disney!

I had to laugh about the speed on the GPS. Ed said he is going to put a piece of duct tape over that part of the GPS when we drive in September.

The photos (as always) are gorgeous! I really like the effects you did to them, too!

I really want to see the AKL lobby in person one day. It just looks beautiful.

Can't wait to hear more!

Question-is it better to be on Kudu or Zebra for CL access. I had requested Zebra to be on same side as pool, and 1st room, our 1st 6 nights are a pool view, then next 6 nights are CL.
Our last stay (non CL) we were on Sunset Savanna - Kudu trail.

Do they have CL rooms on both trails?

CL rooms are on both sides if I'm not mistaken...it's kinda weird how they do it. It appeared that some of the rooms on the Kudu Trail were not CL rooms (the rooms on the opposite side) and if they were, the Savannah view would have been terrible. I can't answer your question about Kudu or Zebra...sorry...guess it's just personel preference. I'll post a picture of the AKL map and try to label a couple of things....that might help you decide. You're smart to request a room closer to the main lobby! It would be a heck of a walk if you were at the very end

and magically arriving about 4.5 hours later at WDW - I'd be there all the time - how do you show such restraint?!

Far, far away, eh.....

We had a suite on the second floor ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way down the hall at the very,very end. It was a super duper hike to the lounge....but it sure is a nice walk

Looks like the trip is off to a smooth start - other than the rain. But you are right, a rainy day in Disney is better than a day anywhere else!

Sorry your hubby couldn't get the time off... although I have a hard time believing those angels do any yelling & screaming...

Totally agree AKL feels like it's in another world and you forget you're in Orlando. Looking forward to hearing more about staying CL.

Faith looks so cute in the arrival picture with her doll. They are ready to go!

As always love the borders and other effects you add to the pictures!

Oh, and good memory... I am in CT! All is well here. Nice and sunny & hot for the holiday weekend!

..."Ferrari-like"...Next time I jump in the driving seat, I'll picture myself driving one...And as far as restraint goes...it's actually quite easy. I just look at my checkbook and that speaks volumes

New to your TR, but loving it! We are doing the Dream in March '13, with a resort stay beforehand (though I keep changing my mind as to where we'll stay). Can't wait to read more!

As for the GPS, my DH refers to that speed shown on yours as "the speed at which our car drives to Disney"
