What do your little ones want for Christmas this year?

It's been years since our kids were little, but we have three grandkids that I love shopping for!

Our six year old grandson LOVES Legos, and he has recently discovered Minecraft on the iPad. So, hits for him this year will be anything to do with Legos and/or Minecraft.

Our three and a half year old granddaughter likes imaginary/pretend play, so we're getting her a wooden dollhouse with furniture, garage, car and family.

Our 17 month old grandson is too young to understand what all the excitement is about, but I'm having fun shopping for him! We got him the Step 2 Up and Down Roller Coaster. Disclaimer: Our daughter and son-in-law took the older two kids on a surprise trip to Disneyland recently, and my husband and I kept our younger grandson while they were gone. We had him all to ourselves for four days. We may or may not have set up the coaster and let him try it out.

So, what do your kids want for Christmas this year? I'm wondering if there is anything that is really popular this year and maybe on a lot of kids' wish lists? Or, if they're too little to really know what they want, what do you think they'll like?

Hi! You sound like awesome grandparents!

My little girl turned two at the end of September. She is getting ALOT of books (she loves books!), pretend dress up Anna Shoes (the knockoff ones from Walmart), Frozen Matching Game, and Day at Disney Little People PlaySet. And a bunch of stocking stuff like bath crayons, Elsa plastic bangles, etc

My aunt just got her more books (surprise!), hiho cherrio Mickey Mouse version game, and a game for her leapfrog leappad - she loves that thing!!

I can't wait for Christmas!!

My 6 year old is asking Santa for a pony, a puppy, and hermit crabs.

The other kids are being more reasonable.

My "little one" turned 18 a month ago . For some unfathomable reason he wants a hamburger phone . I googled it and apparently it's an actual thing. Ordered it from Amazon this morning. Fingers crossed that it arrives on schedule.

DD turns 5 this coming Sunday. She is asking for some Lego sets, a doll house (Barbie/Fashion doll size), the Disney princess Fashion dolls, a cash register, a vanity to put her make up at (No clue where she learned this. I don't wear it except very special occasions.), dress up trunk, Flower night light, Disney's Fairies doll set. And pretty much everything else she sees. She really wants a camel stuffed animal. We haven't let her get it but she tries every time we are in Toys R Us.

Yes! I love buying books for the grandkids, too! I can easily spend several hours browsing in Barnes and Noble!

And which of the above will your six year old be getting? I definitely think you should get all of them!

our 16-yr-old grandson wants money. Which is simple, but I'd really rather get him a gift just to prove we can select something he'll really enjoy without just forking over some cash.

My little ones are 17 and 19. Not so much fun anymore shopping for them. I still have them make out a big list so I have something to choose from. My oldest wants parts for his truck and Trans Am (plus a new comforter and sheets) and my youngest wants stuff for his computer and his photography hobby. Soooo, that's what they're getting.

Our dgds 8 & 6 wish for anything Star Wars. They were introduced to SW's with their first movie this past summer. Their family rm has a Couch & Love seat combo; the girls were aways using their pillows to get comfy on movie night. So last Christmas we gave them pillows covered with Santa (Print) Shams as part of their gifts. They love them! Yep, all year long.

Old St. Nick (Shams) will be replaced with Star Wars covers this Christmas. Our son and ddil will like them (fans too) but for the most part because Santa will not be visible all year round!

I believe we may have started a new tradition. A home can never have too many pillows.

Dgs 8 wishes for all things Nintendo.

My 17 and 14 year old children got smartphones. We actually gave them to them early. Both iPhone 5c.

Yes, both of them had "feature phones" until just this past week. We are horrible parents.

My "little ones" are 13 and almost 18, so not so much fun to shop for anymore.

We paid for half of DS's iphone 6 he got last weekend and DD got a pair of Uggs.

Those are their main gifts, which are also the most expensive.

My little one is 20. We've gotten her a 40" tv, waffle maker, blender, and another scarf hanger. All things she asked for.

My 4 year old DS wants:

a kitchen
Jake and the Neverland pirates ship
and
real airplanes and boats for all of us, big ones for mom and dad, a little one for him, and medium sized for his big brother.

His big brother (11) isn't nearly as fun. He wants minecraft stuff and a gift card to buy tv shows for his kindle.
