Thanks pigletto!

With the lower crowds, what's anyone's opinion on having to use Fast Pass in February? This will be my first trip where Fast Pass is an option. Honestly, my head was spinning with booking packages and ADRs, and I don't know if I"m the kind of person who would want to juggle ride times too. If I tour the parks in a traditional "area by area" method, will I be doomed to long ride waits?

I have never been in Feb, so I can't comment on how the lines will be, but in general, we always use FP no matter what. If the regular line is 30 minutes, the FP line will probably be less than 5. But don't stress about it. If it's too much for you, then don't. See how you feel in the moment.

We usually go in January and February when the crowds are at their lowest. We usually end up using a fast pass for just a few rides, and then only if there is a line. Most rides have very short lines or no lines at that time of year.

We're booked!

Just booked 5 nights at the Pop during President's week. Should be interesting! I'm really going as a tour guide! My aunt wants to take her teenage grandchildren to Disney World (Hence going during a school break). The only park my aunt has ever been in is Epcot and the only ride she goes on is Soarin'. Since she knows that I go often she asked if I'd go and help to make sure that the kids had a magical trip! She even offered to pay my plane fare... so how could I go wrong?!?! I love planning disney trips, so I can't wait to start working on the schedule once I talk to the kids about the attractions on their "must do" lists! I'm not used to going with teenagers anymore since my kids are all grown up... but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we all have an excellent time together!

We had a standard view, which was no big deal since there are viewing windows and outdoor areas all over the place. The couple things people complain about is the lack of quick service at Kidani and the long bus rides to the parks. Personally, we had no problem hopping the bus to Jambo for quick service meals and the bus rides to the parks were fine since AKL has its own dedicated buses. I hope y'all have a great time!
Sound wonderful....thank you! Super excited now...yahoo!!

You're a girl after my own heart, another Kathy who loves giraffes.

We were there last February (the week before President's Week) and thanks to Fast Pass got to ride my favorite "Soarin'" twice one day. So I know FP is still helpful on the key attractions even during lower crowd times.

Wow, how nice! We've stayed in Jambo House twice and loved it but did not stay CL. Have you signed up for the Sunrise Safari? If we could ever stay CL I would book that for sure. We have gone on the Sunset (Wanyama) Safari and loved it.

I think that I am more excited about this trip than I've been for many of past trips, mostly because we are going to do so many things for the first time. It will be our first time at the Wilderness Lodge and I am super excited about it.

Here are the plans:

Wilderness Lodge - Feb 5th - 11th (we added a day to the trip)
me, husband, daughter, son-in-law, grandson-5, granddaughter-3, and my two sisters joining us for the last three days.

ADR's - all of them are for the first time except Cape May - so excited to try something new
2/5-dinner-Coral Reef
2/6-breakfast-Tusker House
2/6-Hoop Dee Doo - I have wanted to do this for 30 years - finally doing it because DD wants to do it
2/7 - dinner - Cape May - love this buffet, every trip must include it
2/8 - dinner - 1900 Park Fare-Cinderella for the granddaughter-delicious food for us
2/9 - dinner - not sure yet
2/10- still open???????????

This will be our first time doing the DDP, too. Buffets are easy with kids and they'll love the characters. And I want to get some value for the money. We usually eat mostly at quick service with a few table reservations, so this will be really nice.

For all of you that will be there on Monday, Feb 4, looks like you'll be there for the parade with the Super Bowl MVP! I tried to cancel the flight I had and rebook, but we can't Enjoy!
