Yeah seat booking was a result as don't think we'll be able to do twilight check-in very early & we really wanted to sit relatively close together.

He's actually been mistaken for Eric & 'looked after' in a special lounge at the airport before - don't think that's going to happen with all of us in tow

Team Building!

You'll need to follow this carefully!

Gaz (my DH) has known Jacq for years through work, they've worked at 3 different companies together, so over the years this has extended to us all 4 becoming great friends, especially after we discovered Disney. Of course this also extended to them getting to know our kids as they still lived at home.

As I mentioned Baz is a Teacher, and he teaches at the school my kids went to - he was actually Tori's Teacher for a while. When she started at the school I warned her not to call him Baz but 'Mr T******'. She came home fuming one day (as 13 yr old girls do!), because he'd called her 'Tori' during a lesson, at school her friends all know her has Vicki.

Alex (Baz & Jacq DS) also works at the same company as Gary & Jacq. Carl also temped there for a while a few years ago. Also James works at the same place as me - see you'll pick up a theme here, he always draws the short straw.

Gaz & I had never met Rachel & her BF of Carl's GF Alex, so as Baz had a special birthday recently he booked us all to go paint-balling together. I got my revenge my presenting everyone with a copy of the Disney plans at a meal together afterwards!

Our Villa

I also created this to show every-one how fab the Villa is and the room allocations - I've been sworn to seceracy re the fact that James is sleeping in a Mickey Mouse room, it's bad enough he's going on holiday with a 46 yr old woman he works with I'm ruining his street cred.




I've worked for the same company for 15 years and most know about my Disney obssesion, people have stopped asking where I'm going on holiday this year, it tends to be when are you going to Disney this year now. 3 work colleagues have borrowed my 'Florida Sat Nav' and I've become quite a lending library with my Disney Books collection & park maps etc. Also after showing a colleague the details of our villa she's booked it too for next year- I hope it's OK!

I am also flying out on the 11th October for our first family holiday to wdw! Funnily enough when I looked at your plans a lot of the days we will be in the same park. On Sunday 14th we are also having breakfast at CP!! Maybe see you there!!

It's getting nearer

ESTA reminders arrived this week, although we won't renew them just yet, as we might get 3 trips out of them that way if we go 'summer' 2014.

Also had a reminder from Virgin that we need to pay before 19th July - my DH booked it all, so that e-mail was a bit

Still after that bills out of the way we only need to purchase our Universal tickets; we're going to buy them from Virgin, but after our tickets have arrived, that way they'll deliver them to the airport for us so we don't have to go a to welcome meeting to collect the Harry Potter World early entry vouchers (well that's the plan - hope it still works!!)

Deseparately trying to upgrade our pre-purchased photopass to the photopasss plus at the moment - emails aren't working so I'm going to try & ring them later. Quite like the idea of being able to add ride photos - with 12 of us we should get our moneys worth

We hit our double digit day on Tuesday so Tori & I will be cutting out Mickey Heads later to make our 'Mickey Calender'.

May have to start packing soon as the 'tub' in the bottom of my wardrobe is now full - stuff I put away ready for our holiday (buy extra shampoo etc when on BOGOF etc). Tub alrady contains;

Shampoo X2
ConditionerX2
Various Shower Gels
Sun creams - mainly P20 so we don't have to carry round parks - love the stuff but hate the smell!
Deodrants
New toothbrushes & toothpaste X2
Small First Aid kit

Two Water cameras
Box Yorkshire Teabags - for me!
Coffee ( I know but DH & Baz don't like American Coffee)
Our Ponchos ( new ones still in packet - didn't have to use them last year)
New socks for our Alex (so I know he's got some decent ones with him!)
Washing powder tablets (me & the kids had eczema when little so stick to a brand I know doesn't make us itch!)

Every year I say I'm not going to take all this stuff, just buy it when I'm out there - but I never do!

He's not a Goth, but a bit that way inclined if you know what I mean, wears mainly black and has tattoos - it's going to ruin his image if word gets out Lets just say the Universal Halloween Horror Night is more his thing

I LOVE those Mickey bedcovers!!! They're gorgeous. I can see why it would ruin street cred though... maybe... I still manage to be a rock chick and love Disney at the same time!
