Another parking question Port Canaveral

Is is more expensive to park in the parking garage next to Disney than to park in the outside lots? I've read something about premium parking being $20.00
more at terminal 8, and was wondering if theta means being in the parking garage would cost us more. We would like to be in the parking garage if possible..

The premium lot is the open lot right outside the terminal, not the parking garage.

Parking garage was perfect. Dropped off family at curb, peaked on the third floor, with the walkway to the checking counters and my wife was just about completed but the time I got ther. All I had to do was show ID and credit card.

Leaving was an elevator ride up, bags in the car, and on the road in about twenty minutes from getting off the ship.

Well worth the fee! Would never use an off site lot and have to wait for a shuttle.

I agree. Parking next to the ship was so easy. Yes it is more expensive that using an off site parking place but for us, the convenience was worth the cost. We have parked both inside and outside of the parking structure and much prefer being inside. I like that the car was protected from weather (especially when we cruised in October - never know what a tropical storm will whip up!).

Is it extra to park in the parking garage or still $120 for a week?

I totally agree with these 2 posters. We use the parking deck and like coming back to a car that hasn't been baking in the sun all week. We also like that the porter puts you luggage on a cart and takes it right out to the garage to your car and you pack the car and are on your way. Convenience is more important to me. We pay a lot for the cruise so what is a few more $$$ to park the car? It's the difference between Value & Deluxe Resort at WDW, and we've done both depending on the finances at the time. As we get older, convenience trumps cost.

Was it hard to find spots in the parking garage? My parents sailed on the RCL monarch back in March and parked at the RCL terminal and bc they were on 3 night cruise, they were only allowed to park outside the garage.

My father is concerned when we sail in September about hurriacanne season and would prefer that the car be up on a higher floor in the parking garage.

We have not had a problem finding a spot in the garage. Usually there are plenty.

I too would "peak" with excitement once the car was parked.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
