Unless it has changed, no, your personal photos are not on the CD.

We are taking our first trip to Disneyland in a couple of weeks.
I have never used a photopass card so I have a couple of questions that I can't find on the thread.

1. Can the same card be used in DL and DCA or do you have to have seperate cards or pay for more than one?

2. Can the card be used every day that you're in DL or DCA, as we have 5 day passes?

3. Once you get home and log onto the card website to get your photos, are there any other charges on top of the charge for the photopass card, ie. cost for the CD?

Just debating whether it would be worth purchasing a photopass + before we go.

1. Yes, the same card can be used in both DLR parks.

2. Yes, the card is good for 14 days after first use (you get a certificate in the mail before your trip that you will exchange for the actual card when you get to the parks).

3. No, not even shipping.

Especially if it includes the character meals and the ride photos.
Looks like this will be my next purchase.

It really is especially compared to the price of the WDW photopass+.

I just ordered my CD with almost 500 photos after adding borders and such.

Another quick question.
Since we've never been to Disneyland before, I don't know if I want to just head blindly to the photo shop on Main Street Disney.
If I see a photographer while I'm heading that way can we get our photo taken and get a free photopass card and when we get to the photo shop have it added to our photopass + cards?
We'll just have to make sure we head to the photo shop before doing any rides.

You don't need to have them converted to your pp+ card either
When you log in online you can add as many codes as you like and all the pictures on each card will show up

I have to order this for my wife as part of her Xmas gift, she loves having the discs full of pictures even though she rarely looks at them or prints them
And my kids will love the ride photos that we never got in the past because of cost

You can definitely have normal photopass cards on your account. You don't need to do anything with the cards at the photo shop though, you just add them all to your photopass.com account on your own.

Personal photos will NOT be on your photopass CD. If you find the borders they allow for personal pictures to be intriguing enough (I personally do not find them to be interesting), you can order a personal photo "archive" CD for 19.99 I believe, but they won't be on the photoCD. If you look in the Help section for info on the photoCD, you'll see that stated, as well as on the "order a photopass CD" page down towards the bottom in smaller print. (in case you doubt me)



Contact them through the "missing photos" section in the Help section.

My TOT photo was missing from our account, and I used that section. It was on our account very quickly, because I gave them enough information to find it easily, including uploading a picture of my son from that day. Of course, I did insist on getting receipts every single time we had a ride photo added to our account, so I had the info from that receipt to give them as well as everything else.

(funnily enough, the TOT CM was the one CM that balked about giving me a receipt, pretending like there was no such thing...she was the last ride photo CM we dealt with and I had a folio FULL of such receipts, so I convinced her that she could actually create a receipt, and after asking another CM she did...but then magically the photo wasn't on our account...interesting how that works!)

So if i order this I take the voucher to the camera shop anytime but before doing a ride with pictures? Then after the first picture gets put on there I can add pictures for 14 days after? Once get home do I have to order prints at a certain time or will the pictures be on cd for use when ever I want? Also I then take that cd and print off any pictures i want?

I am not 100% sure if the 14 days begins when you get the PP+ card at the camera shop or when the first pic is added (I imagine in most cases they would occur on the same day).
You can add PP+ pictures for 14 days at either of the parks.
When you get home, you can use the code (provided in your intial PP+ packet) for the CD. You will have the option to either get all of your PP+ photos on a CD or you can digitally download them right there (that is what I opted for).

The 14-days starts when you first pick up your pp+ card (the CM punches an "end date" on it).

Just back and on the drive home. I wanted to comment on this thread and my experience while we were in DL but my phone was not cooperating. We had the photo pass+. Our first day in DL we had supper reservations at GK. we were bit however, entering the parks that day so no PP+ card. We talked to the PP+ photogs and told them that we had the voucher but no card as we weren't going in the park. They informed us to go to one if the photoshops the next day and they would add the pics to our card and give us our package. So we did. Only to be informed at the photoshop that no, we should've purchased them and brought our receipt back for reimbursement. Just an FYI for anyone in the same situation.
