We then wandered into Toontown and road the go coaster.

It was still pretty sticky and hot so we grabbed some curry popcorn and some of these awesome snacks. They’re like the Dole whip float equivalents. They’re shaved ice with pineapple syrup, topped with pineapple soft serve. Actually better then dole whip floats.

We then settled in to watch the parade. Lots of dancers and over the top in true Tokyo style!

After the parade we rode Space mountain with another 20 minute wait.

After SP One Man’s Dream was about to begin so we headed in to watch that. Again it was all in Japanese, but really entertaining to watch.

We then went back into Fantasy land and I made DH go on the tea cups with me. Only a 5 minute wait! Turns out there’s a break to stop you spinning the cups too fast… .

We then went back into Toontown and while the posted wait time was 30 minutes the CM out the front kept saying it was only a 7 minute wait… Well that’s what we thought she was saying, but no it was indeed half an hour… Probably the longest ride we waited for all day! It’s still a fun ride though, so not exactly a waste of time or anything.

After RR I saw that Pooh’s Hunny Hunt was only a 25 minute wait, and I’d read that it was one of the most popular rides in the park. So I made DH go on that too. This ride was so much fun! I think I want to ride it again before our time at TDR is up.

By now it was after 7pm and we were getting tired. We had done most of the park and thought we would go back into Ikspiari to see what options were there for dinner. At night time every corner you turn Ikspiari just keeps getting prettier and prettier! It’s like a little Italian Forum. It doesn’t have the same feel as downtown Disney, but I think it’s very pretty. There are a heap of restaurants in Ikspiari, and while there may not be English menus outside, I’m pretty sure all of them have them.

DH grabbed a couple of beers from the beer garden and we wandered around deciding on which restaurant we were going to eat at.

We decided on an Italian Seafood restaurant called Cucina Mare. It was quite cute inside and all of the light fittings were made out of wine bottles. However I have to point out what everyone says is true, one side of the room is non smoking and the other side is smoking, so it does smell a bit yucky in there.

Pretty much where the roof changes to beams is where the smoking section started...

I had a creamy tomato based pasta with crab claws and DH had the zuppa de pesce. Both were OK, but we probably wouldn’t eat here again.

Also I asked for coke and the waiter brought me pepsi. I hate that.

After dinner we started to make our journey home. It was some time between 10pm and 11pm by the time we got back to CST.

I didn't see it there, but I also didn't look in the food stores to check. They currently have ears though, which you would love, I don't have a pic but basically it looks like stitch is biting your head.

No problem, I'm falling behind with it, so hopefully I remember everything.

We didn't see it on that first day, but saw it last night.

lol - we just spent god knows how long walking around Shinjuku looking for this wash and fold! Finally here, and FYI the machines here already have detergent in them, so you just chuck your clothes in, select the wash you want (we pressed 3 because it's a pink button and the others are blue, hmm maybe that's the difference between hot and cold wash) and then put in 400Y and it starts washing.

I've sent DH to go find some food.

Bec! I'm in food porn, Disney and laundry heaven!

Thanks for sharing and it looks like you managed to get to TDL in non-busy period. Loved, love, love that shaved ice pineapple dolewhip. I think I could lick me one or two dozen of those alone!

Make sure you have one for me.

Again my alarm didn’t go off this morning… So I woke up at 7:30am and started getting ready to go to Disney Sea.

This morning we knew where we were going and were able to head straight to our train. It wasn’t until we got to the parks that I realised I’d left my phone charging at CST.

Down on the ground floor of ikspiari we went into a bakery like place named Piaria to get some breakfast. DH had a slice of spicy pizza and I had this deep fried pastry like item, which had a layer of bread and then was filled with a curry like mix… I know, bad description, but I’ve never had anything like it before, it was awesome!

We then hopped onto the monorail to head over to Disney Sea. The monorail cost 250Y per person each way, but you can get a multi-use pass for 600Y each.

Tokyo Disney Sea is incredibly photogenic. Everywhere you look is another postcard photo. You enter the park through Mediterranean Harbour. We took a right and made our way through some of the little Italian back alley ways. It’s just gorgeous.

We ended up in Mysterious Island and grabbed a fast pass for Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

Looking at the map I’m not sure how we did it, but after we left Mysterious Island we crossed a bridge into Lost River Delta.

Indiana Jones and Raging Spirits were both 40+ minute waits, so we walked on through into the Arabian Coast. We rode Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage and we watched the show at The Magic Lamp Theatre. I think both of these would have been better if we knew what was being said. Sinbad is very similar to it’s a small world, but with a storyline, and The Magic Lamp Theatre is a cross between a 3D show, like A Bug’s Life and a live performance.

We did a fair bit of wandering around trying to orientate ourselves to the park. I still don’t think we’ve got it…

By this time the time had passed for our JTTCOE FP’s so we headed into that ride. This is a really fun ride, but it sort of feels like it’s over as soon as it starts to get good. It’s pretty tame until the last 15/20 seconds, then it’s awesome, then it’s finished…

We then made our way through Port Discovery and into American Waterfront. We had a look around the S.S. Columbia and checked to see what the wait on Tower of Terror was, it was about 40 minutes. Only I wanted to ride this, so we decided we’d check on the wait later on.

We also had a look through the newly opened Toyville Trolley Park. It looks really great. From pictures I’d seen previously I thought the giant Woody head was a little creepy, but it looks really good in person. The wait for Toy Story Mania was 130 minutes, so naturally we gave it a miss.

We then stopped for lunch in the New York Deli. It was air conditioned to perfection in there!

I had the Chicken Ciabata sandwhich and DH had the Mile High Sandwich, and we shared a side of fries. Just a note, you don’t get many fries in a cup.
The tomato in my sandwich was a bit squishy, but other then that the sandwiches were very fresh and hit the spot.

They have hand held translation devices available for the Magic Lamp Theater. I'm guessing you didn't get one of these? Guess it's too late for you, but for anyone reading this TR and planning a trip to TDR, there are several rides with hand held translation devices- the ones I recall are Magic Lamp and Little Mermaid at TDS and Enchanted Tiki Room with Stitch at TDR.

Awesome to know! Thanks! Is this available at the front of the park or is this something you pick up before going in to the show?

At the show. Usually a CM would come up to me and offer one since I obviously wasn't Japanese.
