Anyone want to be a CP too? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm only a freshman in high school, but I can't wait to be part of the Disney College Program! Does anyone else want to be in it as well? I've been reading through the college board here and planning it. I know it's going to be a long time from now, but I'm so excited!

I think I'm going to do 2017 spring. I'm not sure about advantage yet, since I get homesick (and I live in the Midwest), but I have a while to think about it.

Yes! I want to do Spring or Fall 2015. It would probably be best to do it fall of Sophmore year, opposed to Spring of Freshman year, but I don't know if I can wait that long

I REALLY wish they had a high school program!

Do you have to go through the CP to have any chance to be an Imagineer?

No, but it will help you a lot! Disney is all about hiring with in the company and networking, which you have a great chance to do on the college program!

I'm a senior this year and I've been looking forward to doing the college program since freshman year! I'm early lucky that when I asked most of my choice colleges about doing they program they said that they would likely accommodate me and let me do it which is amazing!

I also want to do it in 2015 also! Im a junior this year and have been so excited to start the college program!! Any ideas of magazine subscriptions that talk about working at Disney? I have also been looking around for some anyway.

I am only a sophomore this year, and I can't WAIT until I'm able to do it!! My brother (a freshman) and I have both been looking into it a lot lately and it sounds super fun. We just got back from our vacation at WDW a couple of weeks ago and we actually talked to a few people who are in the program and they said it's the best decision they've ever made!

I already know that I want to either work at Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom and work at an attraction like Tower of Terror or the Peter Pan ride (two of my favorites) or be a character escort

I'm super excited.

Tower Of Terror is my dream ride. Maybe we will be bellhops together
