Do you have Austar?
Where we live we have Austar instead of Foxtel, my sister was told by one of her friends that they had phoned Austar and told them they were thinking of cutting it off because it was getting too expensive etc.
Austar immediately reduced their monthly bill by $25, standing for 6 months. My sister then tried it, also without very much coaxing they reduced their bill by $25 also. So my DH had a go, yep, $25 cut off for 6 months. I know it's not much, but for those of you that have it why not try and save

Good for you! $25/month is nothing to be sneezed at these days.
I have Foxtel, and I think they bleed you dry, really!! But I couldn't be without it! Sad, really, but I am a shift worker, so it does save my life after work!!

We have Foxtel.
DH spoke to Foxtel a couple of months ago and told them that we were uphappy with their service. They knocked $30p/m off the bill (I think that was how much). |

Friends of mine called actually asking that it be disconnected, and Austar gave them 3 months free, so I reckon you can push harder if you want a bigger discount
![]() We got a letter the other day telling us that we would be seeing the foxtel logo more often and the austar one less. They're planning on getting rid of the austar name and just having it under one brand.
