Royal Court Center Table

Has anyone been seated for dinner at the center table in the Fantasy's Royal Court?

Any stories to share as to how you were told you were assigned the table under the massive chandelier with the high back kingly chairs?

We were assigned it on the May 19th Eastern. We were table 82. Wonder if anyone else was on that cruise and at that table. Or if anyone on another cruise had that table and wants to share their experience.

We were bummed our party of 9 didn't get it, so our Head Server pulled strings at lunch one day to seat us there (they don't normally seat it for breakfast/lunch). LOVE LOVE LOVED being able to see everyone, as we were typically at a long table so only could see those near you. But we found it a bit noisy (and mind you we were there at lunch so dining room was far from full). Made for some great pictures though!

We were told if we wanted it next cruise to just put in a request with DCL with the table number in advance.

We had it for a breakfast meet! Concierge booked it for us and we enjoyed it tremendously.

Table is TOO big

Our group of 10 sat at this table on the Dream, and though at first we loved it, we realized that the table is just too big for any kind of conversation or interaction with anyone other than the people on both sides of you. No idea why we were given this table, but as we entered the dining room the server did mention that we were lucky to be seated there, as it was the best table in the room. But it was great for pictures!

Agree it is noisy and hard to talk. On our first night there were only 7 of us (six women and one man) because one couple were at Palo. We looked like King Arthur meets Sister Wives. That night we were having so much fun with photos and laughing at our "king". But the second time we were in RC it did seem really loud there - seemed like every table around us had young and upset children and it was the only night we were really disturbed by kids screaming through dinner.

The best tables for conversation with our group of 9 people was Animators Palate - the table we had curved at either end and was very intimate.

Just off the Dream May 26 and this table was number 82 in RP. We were a group of 10, 4 adults & 6 kids. While it was a nice surprise and a neat experience once, I agree with the previous comments that it was difficult to carry on a conversation.
