Last year, I stood out in the rain so a 5 year old could see the parade at MK and then I babysat her and her little brother so the couple and their best friends (my neighbors) could go out for the evening.
I called my dad to tell him what I did for the day. I am not married, never had children and prefer being in a group of adults. I could not contain myself about what a great day I had. His response. "Who are you and what have you done with my daughter?" Priceless.

Walking through the IG into EPCOT
Having a few beverages at the Dawa Bar. Taking the monorail loop through EPCOT Sitting on a balcony at YC with a lagoon view at night and listening to the boats make their rounds. |

When the flight attendant says "Welcome to Florida". When any ride temporarily breaks down and a message like this is said: Looks like Brer Fox and Brer Bear are causing some commotion down stream, please stay seated your visit to Splash Mountain will continue in a moment. Lastly, if you stay Club Level and are late going back to your resort, you are delighted with the turndown service. Enjoy those little chocolates.

simple disney things
The purple road signs on property.
I'm not sure if many people notice these, but since we drive seeing the purple direction signs means that we are finally in disney! For that week we are no longer part of the real world, just enjoying the magic :D |

The little things. . .
The Welcome center into Florida after a 15 hour drive. The Disney information channel on the tv -- Test Track, baby! The cheese filled pretzels from the "Lunching Pad". Mickey ears, of course. The bath towels that housekeeping shape like characters in the bed or in the windows.
