I do know what you mean... all of it. We have gone to a Disney park every year once dd was 1 and we did not chose to do BBB until she was just about to turn 7. I just couldnt justify the cost. Course... I think all those times I thought it would be a $200 plus expense...which it wasn't. I had a year to plan it and so had lots of time to collect dress options (both through, ebay and the disney store as well as second hand stores) When finally doing bbb... it think the total was about $60. (with my fdm I can say only $60 cause the dresses were purchased NOT on vacation

)

AND the park hopper... that is what I face this next trip. We decided BBB again, only this time in the castle. We plan to eat at Akershus... so hopping is going to happen. I have NEVER hopped before cause I didn't want to spend the extra. Since it is just dd and I that I am paying the extra for though... not quite as bad.

The price increase takes effect on Sunday.

I was online chatting with a CM around 3p today and pointedly asked him about the ticket increase and in true phone CM style, denied, denied, DENIED...

Why do the prices have to go up.

So let me ask you a question... I have a package booked. Those tickets are locked in at that price... I added a night yesterday, but am pretty sure I am taking it back off. If I do that AFTER tomorrow... will my original package be more than it was prior to making all the changes? I think it will be. I should take it off today, shouldn't I.

They're only locked if you are PIF...

What is PIF?

In any case, I called was on the phone (with everyone else) for nearly an hour...and got the one day removed. Sad that we wont have that extra night, but I just couldn't justify the expense when we have so many other things planned.

Hey annmarieda!

After hanging out on a bunch of those threads anticipating the price increase....... I think I'm fully convinced that package ticket prices did NOT change for 2012. They set thse for Jan to Jan when the package prices are released. Soooo....... even if you want to add a day back on....... or make some sort of other change.......... I THINK you can still do that up until you are paid in full.

Of course, I didn't put THAT info together until after I called my friend and got her to call and add her days and be on hold for over an hour.........

Glad you got your plans worked out and that you're doing BBB!

They always say the price is subject to change until you are paid in full. If adding that extra day isn't too bad, it's a bonus!

Sitting watching Annie in an empty house.

DH took off with his family to watch the Yankees v Tigers game today and the kids stayed with my parents. I sat watching sappy chick flicks with a dear friend of mine last night then I oogled at the "rope drop" for a local donut shop.

She lives across the street from the most popular shop in town (I don't know how she's not 500lbs...) and I was FLOORED to see the sight. We started hearing car doors slam and car alarms being set about 12:40a. Just after 1, I peeked through the blinds and saw the line out the door and across the parking lot! I couldn't believe it!

Then I realized I do the same thing at the parks.

Only that was missing was the opening show!

I know they say that. But even last year I changed trip dates and tickets bought after the price hike, but before I was paid in full, and didn't suffer the price increase.

They're better than Krispie Kreme when the light's on.

I stocked up on my favorite lemon donuts. They're yeast donuts that are filled with lemon pie filling then top with lemon icing. My second favorite are their strawberry cake.

I suffered when I was at college because no where else I tried could compare.
