POR shampoo/conditionar - The DIS Discussion Forums

this might be a weird question but i was wondering if POR has the two in one shampoo/conditionar like value resorts or a shampoo bottle and a conditionar bottle like at delux resorts? The reason I'm asking is if i use the two in one my hair is impossible to brush so i would like to know if I should bring my own conditionar.

My wife said that in POFQ in 2011 it was the 2 in 1 combo and the only time it was two different bottles was when we stayed in SSR which was in 2009 and it's a DVC. Hope this helps....

The combo shampoo and conditioner seems like it has more shampoo and less conditioner in it.

If you have difficult hair that is hard to brush out, I'd bring my own conditioner.

It is H2O, just not the same H2O that the Deluxe's get.

welllll.... Im going to chime in here and say true/untrue... If you are staying in a Royal Room the shampoo and conditioners are seperate. Check out this recent TR.

That's interesting that they give the separate ones, but not the same H2O line as the deluxe resorts.

We stayed at POR last November and we got the individual bottles of H2O. They are all lined up on my daughter's bathroom shelf, along with soap, shampoo, conditioner from most of our other trips. Odd collection, our favorite is the red/black/yellow mickey stuff from 1994

I guess they switch it up often?? I was realllllly looking forward to using the shampoo & conditioner so that I didn't have to bring my own big bottles. I really don't like the combined version... my hair is too thick/curly for that. I wonder if I can call right before I go in September, and ask what they are currently giving in the rooms.

We just recently stayed at CBR and we received the separate shampoo and conditioner that is pictured in the blog so I'm thinking that's what they are giving at all the moderates now? I know it's a relatively new transition to the new products.

From what I've read, they've even changed the deluxe resort's products as well. Haven't seen a photo of them yet though if it's true.

We just returned 2 weeks ago and stayed in the bayou section. We did NOT get those cute little bottles that were pictured in the link above Those are CUTE! Ours was just the single shampoo/conditioner bottle and did not condition the hair very well. I hardly used it. We did get that nice H2O soap though and it is very nice. The scent is "Blushing Orange." We stayed for 17 days and they kept giving us this soap, and giving us this soap, and more giving us this soap!! I brought it all home and will have enough to last a year!

I've seen pics of the new deluxe toiletries and they are the H2O sea salt spa line.

Thanks! I have not tried the sea salt line yet, but I love the aquatics! I still have a few shampoos and conditioners stashed away from a couple of trips ago and I'll be sad when they're gone.
