Graduation Celebration Ideas?

hey friends! The time has come. We are heading down to WDW right after high school graduation. I've made a note on our reservation. we are dining with an imagineer and I've got Gifts of a Lifetime setting up something fun.

What other cool things can we do to make the trip special?

The store has them? Cool. I was going to have Jane grab some, but maybe I will have some for graduation day.

What else?

We took DD17 & her BFF down to WDW for a week last summer right after their graduation. Some things we did for them:

1) booked them their own studio at BCV
2) Epcot Segway tour
3) purchased ahead of time...WDW Grad ears with their names embroidered on them
4) made two different sets of Disney grad shirts for each of them. The designs were created by the fabulous designers here on the DIS
5) took them to Epcot's Pick-a-Pearl & each had a ring created there
6) booked several special ADRs just for them
7) purchased ahead of time....WDW Grad. pins with the year on them

Before we left on the trip, I presented each girl with a "WDW Grad. Bag". In each were the Grad. Mouse Ears, the Grad. pins, & the shirts I'd made.

We to will be at WDW after graduation. I ordered my son a Mickey graduation cap. It is a graduation cap with fuzzy Mickey ears on top with a tassel and says class of 2012. His graduation is on Friday and he is going to wear it to practice in the morning then after the ceremony. We are going to take it to the MK when we get there so I can get some pictures of him with it on in front of the castle.

Question Help finding friends

This forum sounded like the best place to post my problem. We will be at Port Orleans Riverside from July 4th through the 17th. We have one 18 year old son (who just graduated) and would love to find somebody for him to hang out with and maybe do some rides with. Bringing a buddy is not possible, and while he is not shy he feels uncomfortable putting himself forward. I was wondering if there were other parents with older single teens that would be interested in getting them together?

Hi all,

I'm taking charge of the planning for my graduation trip (best present EVER, by the way!), which is in 2014, so I still have a while. I'm also looking for ideas to make it extra special, so this thread was a great find

How expensive are these tours and things previous posters have mentioned?
