How far in advance do you book the reservations? i thought that I read 60 days but it looks like some are booking earlier than that. We aren't going until March but I'm really considering doing this!

You will read and hear between 60 and 90 days to make reservations, but, if you go to the thread above this post, you'll get a more true idea as to the dates. Page one of Sheila's thread will give you the dates and times the party reservations opened up. Typically, it's been between 30-45 days out.
Sign up for that thread, because when someone realizes that the reservations open up, there well be a mad rush of posts of excitement.
Also, there will be times when you know people have made reservations and the CM will say that the party hasn't opened up for that month. Ask them to check again. If they still say it's not open, hang up and call again....or book online.
I don't want anyone not receiving their reservations due to misguided infomation or lack of knowlege by some CM's (although well intentioned). By the way, not trying to slam the CM's, they're just thrown alot of information from time to time and sometimes they aren't given information in a timely fashion either.

I hope this has not been asked but if it was I apologize because I was unable to find the thread. I haven't seen anyone talk about the cost of the dessert party? Also I would like to know if this is something that I have to pay for upfront when making the ressie or is it like other dining ressies where they need a cc but do not charge it until you are there and done eating?? Thanks in advanced!!

The price depends on the time of year. It's roughly $25pp. This is something you pay for up front.

Trust me when I say, you won't regret paying the price for this event.

Thanks for responding so quickly!! So the cost then is one price for everyone rather than different prices for kids?

I believe there is a reduced cost for children. If memory serves it's around $12.

Sorry I'm responding to this late, I just saw it and thought I could help...

This morning, when December-March opened for booking I logged into the site and went thru the motions of booking a table, but I quit before putting in my payment info. I wanted to see what I could expect when it was my turn to book in a few months. Because I went so far into the booking process I was able to see the prices. For a non-holiday time, the site was showing $25.99 per adult and $13.99 per child, plus $5-6 in tax. It would have been $85 and change for our family of 4. This amount was to be paid in full at the time the reservation was made. I hope this helps you out.

Question for those traveling with children- any trouble with your little ones (to big to hold) seeing over the railing? I was just remembering thaf last year my DD stood on my backpack, with a sweatshirt inside, to get the boost she needed. I just wanted other parents to weigh in.

I made a reservation online today for February. The time available was 7:20. Does anyone know if we must check in by 7:20 pm if Wishes is currently scheduled for 9 pm? 1.5 hours in front of all those calories -- not good! (or too good!) Thanks.

I booked online and am not sure if our AP gets us a discount on the dessert party.

I definitely want to book this, looks yummy and a lot of fun. However, I'm trying to find out if we do book, then our plans change, can we get a refund? I can't find anything on the site about cancelling.
