This week I asked my Director if it was okay for Carole and I both to be OFF the same time as we have the same Program Manager , annnnddd she said YES!!!!So I will tell People and Places to list the dates as May 5th thru 9thsoo we wil seeeee ya !!!I know you of all the Dissers understand the Special Needs population , this will be such a JOY to see their excitement , and ours and to get to meet you and the DisMoms again!!!!!

Thanks for the congrats. I'm feeling pretty good, very tired. She's almost 3 weeks old and has started a bit of a routine now with the waking and sleeping. Her name is Lillian.

I have my computer back!!!! So i can get in a few updates (hopefully) before we leave for Hawaii ON FRIDAY!!!! Seriously- I am OUT OF MY MIND excited, I actually am having to calm myself down for it, or else I won't sleep all week-

So back on the Disney Dream......

We left AP and went for a little stroll....







There was SO much to see on this ship! There were also CELEBRITIES everywhere! Like....



Peter Pan and his wench were SOOO excited to meet us! Not everyday the DISmoms are onboard!! But we really couldn't spend all that much time signing autographs, because you know where we were headed....



And that Miss Kara, she right! We met Alenka that night- it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship (based entirely on drinking champagne )





Next we peeked into-



Where the comedian (what was his name again? I don't have any of the Navigators, so I'm not sure- was it something like Jon Charles?) was very entertaining. After him, we went to see-



Where we met the world's coolest cocktail menu-



As well as Kara's girl crush, Alex, who made the BEST cocktail- the OohLaLa that Kara had- it was incredible! Skyline ROCKS!!!

After that, it was back to the cabin- where Joanie did her best Titanic impressions, and we met the neighbors-

The next morning, we were docking in Nassau,and we were bright and bushytailed after 10 or 20 minutes of non-snoring related sleep-



Yea- that's right- some DISmoms snore louder than others- not that I'm naming any names, Kara.... We were SO thrilled, because we were docking next to the Magic!

One of the things I really wanted to do was have sit-down breakfast while on this cruise, because I had never done that before (other than the stinky See Ya Real Soon world's worst breakfast) and I REALLY wanted to, due largely to Karin's constant brekkie food porn! Unfortunately- that didn't happen. We went to the Enchanted Garden, but that is where the other buffet is in the morning- OOPS! No matter- the buffet was very nice, AND we were also served omelets without having to wait in line at Topsiders. Not to mention, we were DYING to see this restaurant. On the way, we ran into some Princesses. What Kara called the A and B team.





The enchanted Garden is gorgeous- but that place is PACKED!!! The tables are really, really close together in there- I sure hope there's a little more space on the Fantasy-



















Then I ordered an omelet (spinach,mushroom & cheese), along with everyone else- and I had about 2 bites. I was stuffed!!



Someone else had-



I don't think I ever realized you could order omelets from the waiter at breakfast in the restaurant- something my DH will LOVE when we sail on the Fantasy one day SOON....Because right after breakfast, we all marched up to the future cruise desk, and I booked my family on the Dec 28th, 2013 NYE Cruise on the Fantasy- WITH Kara and family! It was a VERY happy peas & carrots moment!



What was NOT so happy, was that this was the only cruise I was allowed to book- and I had planned to book at least one more- but had no idea that just a couple of weeks earlier, the rebooking policy had changed on DCL- and the discount can only apply to ONE cruise. ONE.

Which meant that the looooong line that I have always seen on previous Disney cruises was non-existent on this cruise. We never saw a line there- I would have thought I was on another ship if I didn't know better. Sigh.....

While we were booking, Cammie & Joan cornered the market on DVC chachkies right across from us at the DVC kiosk. SWEET!!! We got some great swag!! Hats, pins, and some luggage handle wraps which make it easy to pick out your luggage at the airport. Thanks DVC!

No just the Cruise !!I am sure I will do Disney later in the year like October for the 4th year in a row!! Then I am also going in December with the Grannies!!This promises to be quite the trip an Ex Nun and a Pole Dancer !!!

The next thing on our list of Must-Dos was a little spa time for Cammie, Joanie & I- we all got the same treatment, which was a massage combo deal- I'd ask Cammie or Joan to chime in, but we know how THAT has gone so far in the TR- apparently they both have broken hands, and can't use a computer keyboard! TRAGIC! Anyway- it was a special that was offered once we boarded to be done while in port, and we had booked it the day before. The spa, of course, was gorgeous. This was all in the locker room-

The shower we used quite often-


(That was how we managed 4 adult women in one cabin). I have to say, using all those lovely Elemis products every night NEVER got old!





The Rainforest was additional (even to a spa treatment) and we did not partake on this trip- but I will be going in there either in May or on the Fantasy, because i really love me some rainforest time! Even the lighting was so serene in the Spa-



I don't know why that water tastes so good, but it does!



We waited for our treatments to begin-



And filled out forms-



Cammie & I lucked out and had a treatment room with a view-





Not that I looked out the window a whole bunch while i was experiencing my massage!



Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed myself in there, and I will be doing this mystery treatment again when I sail next year- a Spa Sampler? Was that it? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

Kara had no doubt thrown back a dozen or so tequilas by now, so Joanie and I made a beeline to go rescue the surely overworked bartenders from her escapades.



Time for a little lunch and Joanie's first International adventure! Next!!
