Six nights Nov-Dec
Six people in two standard rooms at Art of Animation (one is age 2 so free)
Seven days of park tickets (no hoppers)
Dining plan (one T'S meal per day)
$3700 before airfare and spending money are factored in.

Right now airfare would cost us $1800, but we are waiting to see if Southwest is cheaper. With airfare, could be more like $5500. Come on, free dining or PIN!

Family of 5 (3 kids between 11 and 15)

Staying BC garden view June for 5 nights with 30% discount
QS dining plan
5 day park hoppers
$4,084.95

Trip insurance $139.90

Airfare from PA to Orlando $1,408

Grand total:$5,632.85 of pure heaven!!!

That's a bargain compared to our last trip 3 years ago when we were DVC members. With dues, monthly payments for DVC, dining plan, park tickets, and airfare it cost us $7,532 for the same amount of nights.

It's fun to see what everyone has booked and what they spent. But it seems that the feeling is all the same....no matter if we spent $1500 or $15000, or we feel or after seeing the numbers, we all say it's worth EVERY penny. And it must be as we all do it again and again!

I totally agree. Just knowing that our DS16 still wants to go on vacation with us is priceless.

We made it just barely under budget!! Family of 4 traveling at the end of August.

Airfair 1398.00 from upstate NY.
Room at POFQ (6 nights)
free dining
4 days of tickets plus water park and more

Just under $4000 total including airfare. We don't do many souveniers, kids have their own spending money. We have a $200 disney rewards card for tips and extras.

Figure about $600 for Universal for the day too, including tickets, meal and transportation there.

Yikes. Last time we went in 2006 we were able to do it ALL under $3000. Air fare was much cheaper, we stayed at CBR.

Family of 9 (me, dh, ds's 16,8,4,2 and dd, her husband and my granddaughter 1).

Flights for all round trip out of Latrobe 1104.00 (no charge for parking). 2 preferred rooms at pop (Sept 13-21), 7 day tickets with park hopper and upgraded reg dining plan 5080.00. So not figuring in tips or souviners 6180.00. But time spent in Disney with the family is priceless! We will just be missing our oldest son who will be on a Disney cruise for his honeymoon that week.
