Prince and Princess Dinner

Is the Prince and Princess Menu found only on the new ships? Or does it serve as formal night on the Magic as well?? We've been on the Wonder for our last two cruises, and we love the Golden Mickeys menu on formal night. When we sail on the Magic, will Prince and Princess be served instead?? A thread listed this menu as formal night for her.

Since the Magic no longer had the Golden Mickeys show, it doesn't do the Golden Mickeys menu. We had Prince and Princess on the Magic in December.

What show does it have instead? Thanks!

The Magic has Twice Charmed, Villains, and Disney Dreams. Fantasy has Wishes, Believe, and Aladdin. The last time I was on the Wonder, it had Disney Dreams, Golden Mickeys, and Toy Story (but that's been a while.)

Do the girls dress up in princess dresses and what about little boys what do they do? Just wanting to make sure I pack what is needed so I do need to run to BBB.

They certainly do:

Little boys can dress up, too. I've seen Peter Pan, and Prince Charming. Or a suit.

The Dream doesn't have the Prince and Princess dinner. At least not on the 3 and 4-night cruises, not sure about the 5-night. It has the 3 regular restaurant menu dinners (3-night) and the Pirate Night dinner (4-night).

8 night NYC did have the Prince/Princess menu on formal night. It has replaced the Golden Mickey Menu...

The best I can do for you. Just got off the ship a week ago, so its current (at least for 2012~) I hope you can enlarge the pics so you can read it! So hard to tell how well the words will come out on those little camera screens!

Prince and Princess is the name of the dinner menu. You are welcome to dress up in appropriate costume if you wish, but it is not required or expected. Some kids dress up every night. We met one young lady in the theater who told us that she had a different princess dress for each night of the cruise; I secretly was glad that I wasn't the mom packing all her finery.

The suggested attire for the night is formal...and anyone who has been on the boards for long knows how that goes--anything from ball gowns to jeans!

I agree. That would be an entire suitcase just for Princess outfits for my 2 girls!! UGH!!

It was a nice addition to see the servers in sashes. Nice little touch

The five night does not have this either.

Pirate and Princess

I can only give you the information I have read since I have one done a 3 night and 4 night which don't have the princess dinner.

From what I understand it is not like pirate night with everything themed around it and an entire night of events. (party/bandanas/fireworks). But incorporated into formal night. There are children that dress the part but there are also people that don't even know it is occuring until they see the theme of the menu. Once again, unlike Pirate night.

I may have to dig myself up a tirara (or discretely borrow one from the kids stash). Then again, I would like so family photos for a xmas card and I don't know about the tiara
