I just saw this on Micechat, I'm sooo glad I have already bought our passes, the Deluxe AP's I bought for myself and my husband have increased by $90 each!! and that's without taking the drop in the dollar into account! I got the 3 kid's 14 day passes on Expedia which was cheaper than Flight Centre but I imagine they will all go up too.

Thanks for that! I got an email this morning, too. Thankfully I have my tickets - but only just!! Got them about 2 weeks ago.

Well with those price rises Disney just price me out of AP's so i think i might be just rearranging something somehow and only buying 14 day tickets.
We were going to get the Premium Aps' and then add our WDW tickets onto them at the moment they are $499 and they are raising them to $649 obviously they are banking on cars land bringing in a big crowd. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blo...t-prices-2012/

Bought our four day passes last night. Save'd well over $200 USD. Thankful for the email to alert us to get them otherwise DH would have knocked us back to three days.

I only want 2 day passes, but if they're increasing that much for a 4 day I might get them...

i guess that means that they're anticipating that cars land will be a huge draw...

phew, just bought DP & DD's park hoppers just now before the price rise. Bought my AP a couple of weeks ago when the dollar was good so we are now all sorted. The hoppers are not going up much but enough of a difference to make it worthwhile getting them now.

I just started a thread regarding this, anybody know the answer?
Soooo with the DL ticket price hike I tried getting on the website this morning to which the website told me there is a problem with my credit card so I assumed it didn't go through. I never got any confirmation email, not in my junkmail folder either so I just assumed it didn't work and went the ARES option and bought tickets with a confirmation email being sent to me. Checked my internet banking just before and I have 3 pending credit card transactions ($500 each) plus the one with ARES. Now, as I never got a confirmation email with the tickets attached i'm still assuming it didn't go through, would this be right? And the transactions should just drop off my credit card pending (hoping) yes? |

having worked in banking for the last 10 years, it's possible that something may have gone astray, and so the answer may be that it does not drop off, or may stay as a preauthorisation for slightly longer than you would like, and if that's the case, just call your bank on monday morning and get them to remove the authorisation for you

). Probably would not have done the AP though at the new prices! We aren't planning on another trip within the year but hmmm you never know, maybe I will pop over on my own, that'll be within budget if I don't have DP & DD to pay for
