Rebooking onboard

When we cruise this summer we're going to rebook whilst onboard but as I can't see us cruising before 2015 I know it will have to be moved at least once. For my dummy booking do I have to make sure I book the same length of cruise and stateroom ie if we want to do a 7 night in a verandah stateroom do I have to book the same for my dummy or could I book a 3 night in an indoor?

you can book a 3 night... that was what I did in May of 2012 on an Alaskan cruise (booked a 3 night for Dec 2013) and just rebooked that this week to be another 7 night Alaskan... and it didn't matter what size / category of cabin!

You can book a 3 day indoor to lock in the 10% discount, however when you move your cruise you will be charged the previling price minus 10% and as the rooms book up the price goes up. you can move your date as many times as needed.

What about number of cabins?
I am confident we will want 2 cabins when we cruise next, (we are one family 5 people). Do I have to book 2 cabins for a dummy date now for the discount on both? Or can you just do one cabin now, and add a second later and still get the discount?

THANKS!

Only cabins booked on board will get the on board booking offers.
