Laundry Rooms On The Dream and Fantasy...

Ok, so my wife got spoiled last year when we were on the Magic and we were in a cabin DIRECTLY across from the laundry room!! We would put the kids to bed and she would be able to go in and out of the cabin getting the wash done!! there were times that we had people camping out in the hallway at our door, but they were all respectful!!

So our next cruise will almost definitely be on the Dream or Fantasy so she's INSISTING that I figure out what room are across from the laundry rooms on those ships!!

Can ANYONE please help me????

The passporter has deck plans that show where the laundry rooms are:

Deck 10: 10572
Deck 9: 9500
Deck 8: 8150
Deck 7: 7014
Deck 6: 6510 (HA room)
Deck 5: 5190
Deck 2: 2000

There appear to be none on Deck 11 or 12.

We were in 8152 and it was right next to the laundry. There was always a line to use the machines as there are not enough for all the people.

GREAT Information!! Strange that there's a few differences in the listings for decks 2, 5 and 6!?!? What does "HA room" mean??

The launderette, as it is called on Deck 2, of the Dream is across from cabins 2000, 2002, 2004...take your pic!k! It is smaller than some of the other laundry rooms but we found it very convenient. We stayed in Cabin #2004. the whole forward area right there is great...so very convenient to many things.

Here are pics......

The pictures of the one on 2 look exactly like the one on deck 8. Same layout and number of machines.

I used the Fantasy deck 7 machines several times. They had 3 washers and 4 dryers, plus 2 ironing stations.

I did have issues where my KTTW card was charged and the machine would not start, despite following all the tips and tricks posted on the launderette wall on how to make sure the machine was ready. I would then "reboot" the machine and have to pay again. So, just make sure you keep track of how many loads you actually ended up doing. Guest Services had to remove three extra charges from our bill.

I did laundry a couple of times on Deck 2 of the Dream, and both times I was the only person. I'm guessing it's because Deck 2 maybe doesn't have as many cabins as the higher up decks since there's a restaurant on one end? We were in Stateroom 2010 - it wasn't right across the hall but wasn't very far at all.

We had issues once while we were on board, but they credited it right back, no problem!!

Thanks SO much. I am just about to start packing (we leave Friday morning for Port Canaveral!!!) and needed to know about irons and how to pay for the laundry. Your pictures answered all of that.

On our Dream cruise last summer, my son and his family were assigned Cabin #7014, and there was a lot of noise and door slamming coming from the laundry room all day and very late into the night. I would definitely forego the convenience of having the laundry facilities nearby in favor of a quieter cabin!
