Yeah, that was so umm, appealing. NOT!

Joining late... I'm a Tuesday morning quarterback...

Ok, I agree with all of you (you took the thoughts right out of my head!!). I just wanted to add:

They need to switch things up. I am SO bored with the incredibly awkward first meeting when they come out of the limo and try to do something to stand out. SO lame and uncomfortable. The guys who just say, "Hi, I'm______" impress me way more than the stupid helicopter, grandma outfit, and egg, for pete's sake.

Emily really is stunning, and I'd love to borrow that dress!

The guy with the body, at the end? Idiot! His friends will be mocking him about that for life. But dang... I do wish we had that to look at for a few more episodes. Wow.

Agreed, like a man there's nothing wrong with looking at a nice hard body!

I loved her dress, too and it fit her so perfectly. She's a little teeny thing, it was nice to see a dress that fit sexy and not tacky.

Those over the top greeters must feel UBER stupid when they're not picked. Granny was just plain STUPID but I have to give props to helicopter guy. Now THAT'S an entrance . Player HATER ville!

This article sums it up well!

http://www.celebritybeehive.com/blog...lors-ever.html

Quote:
Oh Jesus. I would seriously hate to be Emily Maynard. What the hell?????
ABC published photos of the new crop of 25 bachelors who will be vying for that coveted final rose and I have to say, this is not looking good.
First off, they all look like a bunch of dorky frat guys who think fart jokes are just hilarious and that is just the worst kind of guy. And some of them look slightly cross-eyed. Am I wrong? But the best part (and worst for poor Emily) are their quotes from their bios pages - they are beyond hilarious!
Some of my faves:

Travis - Would you say you're a little bit country or more of a city person?
Being from Mississippi of course I'm going to be a country boy. But people don't consider me to be because of the way I dress and carry myself. I tend to be a little 'Metro'. Uh-oh.

Ryan - Who is your favorite artist and why?
I believe athleticism is the "Art" of movement. Michael Jordan was an incredible Artist. Oh come on.

Kyle - Who are your top 3 all-time favorite movies?
Zoolander, The Notebook, Point Break The Notebook? I appreciate a man who can show his emotions but really???

Jean-Paul - What superpower would you choose to have and why?
Pacifier powers. So I could calm people down preventing wars & conflicts and just get people to chill out. Really??? You could have any superpower and you pick pacifier powers??? I'm betting he's out the first night.

Aaron - Do you prefer a woman who wants to be pursued or a woman who pursues you and why?
Because I am relatively shy on making that initial contact, I love it when a woman pursues me. It shows confidence and that she's not your average woman. Hot. He's definitely out the first night.

Emily has got a long and disastrous road ahead of her I think.

Just as the first guy got out of the limo I fell asleep and missed every single introduction! Even 'helicopter guy'!!

I'm in for another season too! I love the way there is always one guy (or girl) that all of the contestants decide to hate from the very start - in this case Helicopter Guy. Usually that's more fun to watch than the faux romances, so I guess I'm hoping he stays around for a while.

I actually do like Emily and do hope she finds love, but I just don't believe this show is the best way to do it.

I was thinking the same thing - it's okay to let her know your family situation, but that letter is a little over the top. What 12 yr old boy sits down and writes a letter like that to a stranger?

Wow - he's pretty proud of that 6 pack. He looks like a molded GI Joe to me.... poor guy, he probably worked so hard on that and thought it would change his life. He needs to take it to Miami beach or something...

Okay, I'll admit it - I slept through most of the cocktail party, so I'm a little confused about who they all are, but that's not new for me!

Looks like they won't have all the shows from her hometown.

No Kimmy, you saw it all. You're still in shock & numbing out what you saw. It's a natural PTSD reaction after watching a trainwreck.

She should have the boy on INSTEAD.

Considering how emotionally young Emily is, the boy might be more her speed.

At this point, I think everyone involved is looking for opportunities...for fame/other jobs (Travis Stork, Melissa Rycroft, Chris Lambton, who else?), for other dates (all those Bachelor/ette reunions/orgies...it's like one big frat party), for Bachelor Pad, for exposure for current jobs (Kirk's personal trainer business), and DEFINITELY for the travel. They go on some pretty AMAAAAAAZING trips.
