I'm with you, I love them, but it's on the list of foods that I find very awkward to eat at work.

This week I've been eating plums at work, and it's awful. They're so juicy that I have to eat them with a simultaneous biting/suction approach that is probably horrendous to behold.

Get a cherry pitter. Nifty little gadget - pops the pit right out without smushing the cherry. Prepare some before work and put in baggie/bowl. Then you have an easy-to-pop work snack!

Spitting out cherry pits doesnt bother me. I do it as dainty as possible, with a napkin. Lol.

They do.

But you're missing out on some major fun you could have with those:

Chicago man wins cherry-pit spitting contest in Michigan

46-year old Ronn Matt from Chicago pulled off a huge upset win at the annual International Cherry Pit Spitting Contest on Saturday in Southwestern Michigan. It was the first time in 20 years that someone whose name was not Krause or Lessard had won.

It almost didn't happen. Ronn's wife had to convince him to enter the contest. Thankfully he listened to his wife, and now he owns the championship after spitting a cherry-put 69 feet for the victory.
69 feet ?!?!

.
