need some med advice

after I cut all the boarders on the golden tickets my thumb got very sore of course, but then went numb on the inside top part....it is still feeling the same way....do you all think I should get it checked out???? can't imagine what it could be, but it feels very strange to try and work with it feeling like this....thanks for any advice!

Lisa, try soaking in warm water and taking an anti inflamatory. From all the cutting you probably irritated the tendons and joints. Should feel better in a few days. Try not to do too much repetitive motion with your thumb over the next few days.

I remember my hands getting very painful from making bows at my former job and this would help.

I have been taking motrin, will try the warm water too thanks! will keep babying it and see how it is on Monday

I second the advice. Or use a heating pad on it. also try opening and closing it in a different motion that cutting and stretch it out.

I third the above advice... I would try to get through the weekend for sure and if there are still issues call the doctor.. I do think you just aggrevated the nerves/tendons with the repetitive motion..
