That you--I checked rates at Dollar for a mini van and booked it for 8 days for a total of $289. Beats $359 at Alamo!

That is odd... almost seems like the Advantage rate was missing the 3 extra days I'm not much help unfortunately; this is the first time I've rented a car in 10 years and it's very confusing! FYI... for anyone traveling over Thanksgiving, I put in 11/23-11/30 on carrentalsaver and came up with $121 (plus taxes, etc) for a compact / $185 SUV with Dollar! May want to check it out!

With Budget as long as the e-coupon is accepted when you make the reservation you are fine! You don't need to print anything and it will be taken off the total when you return the vehicle. It says so in the reservation actually.

Both are Advantage.
1 thru AAA; 1 booked online direct with Advantage. Both are priced for 10 days. Both are for dates 11/25-12/5/12. Both are for MCO. Both are for Intermediate Car. Here's the figures - Advantage site - $155 WEEK; $190.94 TOTAL for 10 days AAA site - $147.81 WEEK; $287 TOTAL for 10 days. (note the weekly rate starts out lower, but total ends up $96 more?) So, of the two offerings - AAA started out with a cheaper Weekly rate but ended up with a MUCH higher TOTAL rate - doesn't make sense unless going thru AAA ends up with a much higher daily rate for the extra 3 days. |

I just got a Standard size car through Dollar for $159.61 total for 11/10-11/18. By far the best price I've seen since I started hunting. No codes, no city special. Although the city special for a mid size was cheaper, we can't fit in a mid size! The compact was even less.

This morning the Standard was now cheaper than the Premium through Alamo. So I rebooked for $233.78 all inclusive. Used my Insider's ID only as the AD2359FDF code is now blacked out for my dates.
Decided to try the VISA $30 off code and that brought it down to $198.63! |

I am living dollar this week! Their prices on a minivan with the 4PMVM code just keep dropping! I've got 11 days for $372, which is still a lot of money, but considering I started around $900 when I first started looking, it feels pretty good!
