FYI...Canadian JetBlue TrueBlue members...Grrr...

Thought others may be interested in knowing this...

I'm a JetBlue TrueBlue member and always receive all promotional notifications by email but I never receive the email letting me know when the new booking window opens. For a year now I've been trying to figure out why I don't get this vital email. Couldn't get an answer from JetBlue. Finally, a TrueBlue Rep told me today that I don't get it because I have a Canadian mailing address. Only TrueBlue members with a US mailing address receive this specific email. Can you guess I'm a little ticked off?

Would getting a gmail account not work? They are .com aren't they? I'm sure there's got to be some free email account providers out there with US extensions.

It has nothing to do with the email address. You can have any email address.It is the mailing address that is the issue. When you sign up for TrueBlue you provide your mailing address. Anyone that does not have a US mailing address will not receive this particular email notification.

Oh I see, that is annoying. I've run into that for other things, really makes me steam up a bit too.

I'm not really ticked at the requirement for a US mailing address. It's the fact it took 9 months to get me an answer. Frustrating...

I'm Canadian.........get those email updates including when new flight schedules open up. It has been a long time since I signed up maybe they have changed policy since then.

I get them too and I'm Canadian. I've been a TrueBlue member for about 3 years?

I get them too. We always book flights with them as we prefer to fly with them. We did a mistake by booking with Us Airway last year and won't be doing that again. I much prefer my direct flight with Jetblue out of Syracuse
