Ebay question and vacation

I have some things up on Ebay as Buy It Now's. They stay up until they sell. We are leaving next week on a cruise. Should I take all the items down and relist when I get home, or put a (large) disclaimer on each description stating that no shipments would be made from this date to this. I'm leaning towards the disclaimer.

Which way would you do it?

I would just add the disclaimer in big bold letters at the top of the description. I sell on Ebay, as well and have done this several times. It works fine, normally. I would also add to the disclaimer that you will not be available to answer any questions until you return. I always put this info at the top in a bright bold color so that people can't miss it....Ebayers don't always scroll all the way to the bottom to read the entire page! Good luck selling and have fun on vacation!!!

Go to your vacation settings. You can leave the listings up but make them invisible to searches, or you can put the disclaimer at the top. (Which, sadly, lots of buyers conveniently seem to "not notice.")

I'd go with the disclaimer too. Both on etsy and eBay, I've bought things knowing the seller was on vacation and my items would be shipped when they returned.
