I have never heard of that, I will definitely look into it, thank you!

We ended up buying a 16gb memory card before we left which was definitely helpful. But let's say using the old camera I had, I would not have been able to take nearly as many pictures because the memory cards were slowing down the camera loading speed and memory writing process.

Nothing worse than having that once in a lifetime shot ruined because someone closed their eyes, or was looking away from the camera, or the picture was blurry, etc.. I maximize my opportunity to capture the shot I want by utilizing burst mode.
I never thought about burst mode! I had used it for rides and what not but never just regular pics..... I may try this! Thanks!

I took about 300 pics a day. I had 2 cameras. My big one for the parks and then used my llittle one for meals. It worked out great!

I'm 20 years old and have my own camera. I take anywhere from 400-500 pictures. I'm the type who likes to take pictures of odd ball stuff such as food and other weird things.

We've been going twice a year since 2003 and we rarely take under 2,000 photos each trip. I should add that we also venture off property to Universal, the beaches, etc. I think the most we've taken was close to 3,000 pictures.

Last trip I came back with 5000+ photos backed up. I took more than that, but deleted the obvious blips or duplicates. I shudder to think what would happen if I took pictures on burst mode

I always take plenty memory cards and back up the day's pictures to the hard drive and an external drive on my laptop when we get back to our room. I take a lot of memory cards because I tend not to clear the card until we get home and just keep replacing it with a new one throughout the trip.

Oh and we do Photopass too and usually get around 400 pics before editing on there. I love photos

You need to check the speed of the card, not just the size. I go for Class 10 now as a rule. Although I use 16G cards I still back up every night, rather than waiting for the card to fill up as all it takes is a corrupt card to lose all your precious pictures. I don't want to lose any but I would rather lose one day than a whole week of pictures!

Of course it always helps to ensure that you have taken your card from the laptop and put it back in the camera once you're done

I wish I took lots on our last trip, but I didn't because my digital camera was so cheap and crummy. All the photos turned out poorly and halfway through the trip I just gave up.
My mom had gotten a nice digital camera and took some very nice shots (especially of us meeting all the Winnie the Pooh characters at the Crystal Palace breakfast). I'm making sure that NEXT time I go, I have a GOOD camera!!!

I would say I take between 100-150 photos per day during our 2 week holiday.

I love photos too

i take all the pictures on our trips for the most part. i'd say that i take maybe about maybe 50 or 60 a day? we always buy a new memory card before we go to make sure we don't have to delete any or miss any moments and we normally go down for alittle under a week so i'd say anywhere from 250 up to 400 pictures? idk lol something like that
