Spiders in ITTBAB?

Will an adult who absolutely hates spiders have problems with It's Tough to be a Bug? (I know it's down for now.) I haven't seen it myself, but understand that it's not real bugs, but Disney bugs. I don't want to Youtube it and ruin it! But for another adult traveling with us, if there are any real spiders, or if we have the sensation of spiders crawling on us or anything like that, it may just ruin his day. So, just making sure before we just decide to skip it. Thanks for any info.

I would skip it.

It's temporarily down anyway. When are they going?

If they're afraid of giant, fake spiders at Halloween, they should skip it. If not, I think they'll live through it.

It's closed now. Branch fell off the tree. Might be up again in a month, though.

I also absolutely hate spiders, but these did not bother me at all - not to give anything away since you haven't been yet, but it's very obvious they are fake (and even kind of cute!).

However lots of the kids sitting close to us were petrified from the get-go and were screaming and crying hysterically throughout the whole show.

Now that was scary!

I loved this and I HATE bugs and spiders. It's one of those things that you KNOW that nothing in there is real so your less scared about it. If you have kids they will LOVE it!

I can't even look at a fake one without my ears vibrating and my body starting to panic. Yes, I said my ears vibrate. I don't know why, they just do. Even if I just look at a picture. I love ITTBAB though. The fakes are comical even and my ears didn't vibrate. I couldn't even write the S word in this post, that is how afraid of them I am. I checked in to this thread b/c if there was a place infested, I wanted to know about it ahead of time to avoid it. Thank goodness it was just a question about the show.

You could always just look away when the spiders come. That's what I always do. The rest of the show is really cute!

I am terrified of spiders and will do this attraction...however, I close my eyes for that part. I try to keep them open...I just can't do it.

Personally, it's not so much the spiders as it is the "hornet" stabbing me in the back. Either way, I normally opt out of that attraction due to being afraid of pretty much every bug they feature.

If cartoon spiders scare you, then yeah, skip it. I love the show personally and so did my 2 & 4 year old and they're scared of real bugs (even a fly will make them scream).

All bugs freak me out! Yes, somehow I manage to go camping but I still hate bugs - every single one of them. But I'm absolutely fine on ITTBAB and it's one of my favorites at AK. I never miss it and never once did I freak out at it.

I am horribly afraid of spiders. ITTBAB made me incredibly uncomfortable during the spider part, but I just kept my eyes closed and fought my way through it. I really enjoyed the rest of the attraction, so I'm glad I did it. It's only a few moments out of the entire show.

They are only rubber spiders, so basiclly Halloween decorations. However, chances are it will still be closed during you visit.

I am terrified of spiders, I hated the entire show and I'm not sure I have the nerve to go on it again this trip - it completely creeped me out.
