Artist Point-perfection for our anniversary
Last week, we celebrated our 30th anniversary at AP. From the time we walked in, it was like a fairytale. As soon as we were seated, we were brought a champagne toast with rasberries. Then the server brought us an "amuse bouche". For you regular folks (or if you don't watch the Food Network, the only reason I knew), an "amuse bouche" is a small tasting from the chef, kind of a pre-appetizer, a taste of "things to come"-ours was a small goat cheese tart. DH had bought me a princess wand and a bracelet for our anniversary thru Disney-
 After our appetizer, we were given a little "Palette cleanser" of rasberry sherbert/gelato(?) with home-made granola. After our main course we got a digestive beverage of ice wine. Our dessert was a specialty cake we ordered-  At some point, the manager came over with personnalized menus for us to keep. Thirty years ago, we eloped and married in jeans with only a justice of the peace and a couple witnesses. Afterwards, DH and I went to the lounge of the nearby resturaunt for a drink. This experience outdid anything we could have imagined and I'll always remember.

Artist Point survived a middling phase a few years ago to once again become one of Disney's very best, second only to Citricos. I'm glad you two were treated so royally.

Congratulations on your 30th anniversary!!
 This is so very exciting! DH and I are booked for Artist Point in July for our 10th anniversary, I am so excited! We are also staying at WL for the first time. Our honeymoon was at All Star Sports because we couldn't afford WL back then.
