Not sure how we got so lucky. We reserved a mid size car with Alamo for 8 days and paid $155. When we picked out our car last Wed at 11:00 p.m. we found 2 minivans in the aisle. Love having the extra space.

Not knowing what you actually inserted in the boxes, it is impossible to know how to answer this question. I can say IF you used a coupon code in the coupon box, then you cannot check in online. You can use the counter or the kiosks (they are located in front of the counter) in the main terminal.

Dollar is $359 inc taxes if you click on city specials. If you need the additional driver then stick with Alamo.

So, this is how I booked my car for our trip. It's an e-coupon (I believe) so I don't have a physical coupon to present. I have never rented a car in my life and I'm hoping I haven't screwed up. Do I need to checkin at the counter or can I do the online checkin? |

It has my base rate then Contract ID US Air Fall promo Subtotal Discounts: Discount American Airlines Valley Offer Taxes and misc. And then my total I'm so confused. Maybe I should just keep my Costco reservation and not worry about this e-coupon. Can online checkin be done with a Costco reservation? |

I checked Hotwire and got a quote for $151.31 for a full-size. Went with it and got Hertz. I've used Hotwire before, had no problems. Would suggest you look to see what's out there.

Has anyone seen much movement with National? We currently have a reservation 9/27-10/7 and ours came down a little this week, but not a whole lot, we are at $284 for a midsize with the KLM contract id. This is significantly higher than we have paid in the past. Could this be coming down further?

I've seen it come down more than that, but honestly, you can really never tell.
