It has taken 5 hours, but I think I decided!

I can't believe how long this has taken me, but after switching things around several times, I think I have it finally! We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge for 8 nights on the Deluxe DP for Thanksgiving week. How does this sound?

3 people= 72 credits

Day 1 Hollywood Studios Day

We will be there for park opening, then go back to the hotel to unpack at lunchtime

Lunch: Trails End at Fort Wilderness 12ish 3 credits Sci Fi

Back to HS for more rides and to see Fantasmic

Dinner: Yachtsman 8pm 6 credits Artist Point
Just decided to change this! Ditching Trails End (sigh) and putting Sci Fi for lunch and swapping Yachtsman for Artist Point this night since it is our first night at the WL. I think it's better to have AP the first night and get to explore our hotel a little more and unpack before dinner instead of making my son leave midday on first day.

Day 2 Magic Kingdom

Breakfast: Crystal Palace at 8am before park open 3 credits
Lunch: Sharing some counter service..Waffle sandwiches from Sleep Hollow and/or Captain Cooks at Poly
Dinner: Ohana 6 or 6:30 3 credits

Day 3 Epcot

Breakfast at Roaring Forks or bakery goodies brought back from MK bakery the night before using snack credits
Lunch: Chefs de France 12pm 3 credits
Dinner: Biergarten(a must for my 13 year old son) 6:30 3 credits

Day 4 Epcot again
Breakfast: same as above, only the goodies will be from France
Lunch: Le Celier 12 pm 3 creditsVia Napoli
Dinner: California Grill 7pm 4 credits OOP for my son

Switching Le Celier for a different day and putting in Via Napoli

Day 5 Magic Kingdom
Breakfast...same as above
Lunch: Liberty Tree Tavern 12 pm 3 credits
Dinner: Citricos 7pm 6 credits

Day 6 Animal Kingdom
Breakfast: Tusker House 8am before park open 3 credits
Lunch: Yak & Yeti 12:45 3 credits
Dinner: Jiko 7 pm 6 credits
(too much food this day! we won't be members of the clean plate club!!)

Day 7 Down Town Disney and Epcot
Breakfast: Wolfgang Puck Express, then a little shopping at DTD..cash
Lunch: Rose and Crown Pub 12:30 3 creditsLe Celier
Dinner: Tutta Italia 6pm Candlelight Processional Package 6 credits
Ditching Rose and Crown and putting in the Le Celier that I replaced with Via Napoli on Tuesday. Keeping Tutta. Didn't want Italian for lunch and dinner on same day

Day 8 Hollywood Studios
Lunch: Sci Fi (another must for son) 12 pm Brown Derby 6 credits
Dinner: Artist Point 7 pm 6 credits Yachtsman
Replacing the moved Sci Fi with lunch at Brown Derby for Fantasmic Package. Originally wanted BD but scrapped it as we ran out of credits. Figure my son will probably only eat a flatbread as his meal at California Grill, so will pay OOP for his food at CG and save his credits to use for BD. Dinner at Yachtsman to replace AP I moved to first night

Day 9 Magic Kingdom
Breakfast: Grand Floridian Cafe 8am cash
Lunch: Kona Cafe 1pm 3 credits
Airport :-(

I think this leaves me short one credit now, but will probably end up sharing an entree at Yak and Yeti with son, or pay OOP for his lunch at Kona to make it up

Very nice!!! 8 days of DxDP, you guys going to way too stuffed. The only thing I won't do is to spend 2 TS on candle night with Tutto. I would much prefer using the credits on Flying Fish (our favorite WDW restaurant).

We will be there for Thanksgiving as well, but will do three nighter in a Boardwalk Grandvilla, then a four nighter on Disney Dream, and then finish off the week at VWL for a three nighter.

When we are on DxDP, we normally would do signature dining every night (we did opted for CRT on our last trip).

What a great lineup! I can't believe it only took 5 hours. Isn't planning half the fun of it? It looks like you've done this before. I wouldn't change a thing. It looks like a wonderful trip. I would love for you to take me with you.

Enjoy!

What time is F! on your first day and will you have a car?

If it's at 7 or later, I think you'll be a bit crunched to get over the Yacht Club by 8 on Disney transportation. The show itself is over 20 minutes. It takes a while for the F! theater to empty out, then time to get out of the park with the masses. The walk or boat ride to the Yacht Club takes at least 20 minutes and I'm pretty sure there's no direct bus.

If you're driving and/or the show is at 6:30, then you'll probably have plenty of time.

Otherwise, your plan looks awesome!

The show is at 6:30 and we usually sit near the top so it doesn't take forever to get out of there

LOL...well, it took 5 hours last night to get the park hours written down, deciding which park on which day, then which restaurants that day. I have been pouring over menus, making lists of favorites, thinking about how many credits to use etc for MANY months. It was actually keeping me up at night!! It actually kept me up last night too because I was second guessing myself on a few things!

I know, we will be stuffed! I get full way too fast anyway. That's why I planned only 2 sit down meals a day. There is no way we could do 3 a day! Plus it would suck up too much time. I agree, I really didn't want to spend 2 credits on the CP. I had planned on paying cash, but ended up with credits left over since I couldn't add another signature restaurant and still get to all of the Epcot restaurants that everyone wants to go to! Now if they open Be Our Guest in time for our trip I will really be screwed! I'll have to get rid of something

It only took you 5 hours??? We only had DDP and I took about 5 hours every week for several weeks. I think I looked at every flipping menu. And I think I'd puke if we had DxDP. We were so stuffed from the standard one. Eating at a few 2 credit places would have definitely helped us (and probably a great idea for you!). You hit all the major places that I looked forward to on our trip!

5 hours to write out a plan after figuring out which parks we would be at each day. I have been looking at menus for months. It's an addiction! Just when I thought I was done, I spent more hours looking at things today and have decided to change a few things

Yup, we will be coming back to WDW on Nov 29th after a 4 night Disney Dream cruise. We were planning to dine at California Grill for the evening, then Cinderella's on Friday night, and Artist Point on Saturday night. I will fill in lunch/breakfast in a short while. So, if Disney opens Be Our Guest, then hopefully they would be opened for lunch (which I do expect, since it is at MK, and all MK restaurants are open for lunch; just different menu).

Enjoy your cruise! We went on the Wonder 3 or 4 years ago and really enjoyed it. The Palo brunch was fantastic! I'm not sure where I would fit in BOG, but I'm sure I'll find a way if it opens in time
