I. CAN'T. WAIT.
![]() It really seems a little silly to be so excited about a restaurant opening up. But I love that movie, love the Be Our Guest scene, love the ballroom scene and cant wait to eat at the restaurant!!!!!! |

Looks great except it is a shame they couldn't do the dome ceiling. That is what I remember the most about the room from the movie (and the windows of course, which they did a terrific job on!). I guess the building just logistically couldn't have been shaped where they could do it? At least they got the cherub painting on the ceiling. I wish they could have figured out a way to at least put a row or two of the rectangles with the gold on them around the painting to kind of give it the feel of the ceiling of the movie instead of that white trim (which I call "master bedroom" trim as it looks exactly like what you see in a ton of the houses they build around here) . It is still a beautiful room though! Can't wait to eat there! I wish they would release more details about the menu.

When you say "holidays", do you mean Christmas, thanksgiving...Halloween?

I asked my travel agent that question a few minutes ago and she said Disney hasn't actually confirmed what "holidays" really means. She is assuming it means Thanksgiving weekend, but isn't certain.

Holiday season for Disney usually means just after Halloween, when all the Christmas decorations start going up.

I'm so glad BoG will be open by the Holidays! Plenty of time to read reviews and get a feel of what Dinner will be like.
I'm going in February and you can bet I'll snag one ADR for our trip! |

If they aren't going to give us a date or even tell us just what holiday they are talking about, why bother bringing it up?
Is this just so people will stop talking about the tree and start talking about when, exactly, this will happen? Grrr. If they're going to make an announcement, I would like some actual information. |

~Thanks for the update! If I had to guess, "holidays" would be right before or after Thanksgiving. I don't know...

It looks gorgeous...I wish the ceiling was domed like the movie but I'm sure there is a reason for it not being so.

Let's say they gave a date of October 15th. October 15th comes and it's not open - staffing issues, building issues, menu issues, etc - folks would cry fowl. Now by being vague and saying "holidays", well that could be Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanza. Nobody gets upset if it runs past a date. Unless it runs into 2013. Marketing. Still, I'm in the camp that would like a specific date.
