Not sure why they don't list that as an option either but I'm glad I know now. Will be mailing away for it soon - our day is August 25 aboard the Fantasy.

I am a Florida resident and we just went to the local tax collectors office and paid our $90 fee and got the license. I had no idea out of staters were having to a pay a huge fee. I don't know what you need if you are out of state but in state residents just need a couple forms of ID and payment.

That's the thing—people from out of state DON'T have to pay a big fee, it's the same price Florida residents pay.

What happens is, non-Florida residents get suckered by these companies that offer to obtain the license for them at a cost of hundreds of dollars on top of the county's license fee, when they could get the license by mail themselves via Brevard County for just the cost of the license. These companies still require you to jump through all the same hoops (notarizing the signatures, etc.) that Brevard County does, so it's not like you're getting any extra service.

I would like to shout out to all of you past, present and future brides for your post. This forum has been a huge help and much appreciated.

We finally set a date and I have somewhat started our PJ.

There was a post on the DCL board about someone receiving ears back in 2007 as part of their VR. I wanted to confirm, before buying new ones, that they don't do that anymore. Am I right they don't do it?

We got married in September and did not receive ears.

A DCL couple was featured on DFTW's Ever After Blog yesterday: http://http://disneyweddingsblog.com/disney-cruise-line/real-couple-spotlight-amy-matthew/. It's always exciting to see cruise couples featured on there!

Me and my hubby are renewing our vows on the Fantasy in June, can't wait. I thought I read somewhere that when we get to the port, we can check in at the concierge line, is that true?

I think you should ask Shanda she would be best able to answer your question.

My wife and I did check in at th concierge desk at the port. Also the let us skip the boarding line and allowed everyone that was in our party an with us to do the same. Granted those members of your party must be with you to skip the line.

Photography

Sorry as I know this was on the old board, but I can't find who I was looking for anywhere ...

Does anyone have any recommendations on photography outside of Disney? We are saying our options. We are in NY, and the cost to bring the photographer here that we wanted was outrageous.

Videography & Flowers

Hello! For brides who have already had their ceremony, CONGRATULATIONS! I'd like to ask what you did for Videography. Also, did any of you have flowers in your hair and how did you do that. Did you bring them on board yourself or purchase somewhere on ship? I'm thinking of having a flower in my hair but don't know how I'll get that flower. Thanks!
