Best Places to eat near Disneyland

Just looking around and haven't seen any threads dedicated to great places to eat outside the park. I know of a couple. One is Molly's Kitchen, right next to the Portofino Hotel. Always great service, good food, all in all a great filling meal before hitting a long day at Disneyland. Another great place is the Overland Stage and Territorial. Its pretty much American Cuisine meaning mainly steak. My all time favorite, I tell this to anyone traveling to the Disneyland area, Rufino's Italian Restaurant. THE best Italian food you will ever eat. Its a small place probably seats about 50-60 people but its family owned Genuine hand crafted Italian food. The service there is great, Ill even give the address incase your in the area, 938 South Euclid Street, Anaheim, CA.
Heres a link to the Rufinos Italian Restaurant. http://www.rufinos.net/oc/index.php

IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS OF SOME GREAT PLACES TO EAT POST THEM HERE!

We are going to be there in 3 weeks, so I'll update then. We plan on hitting up OC Poultry and Rotisserie for sure.

We really like El Pollo Norteno. They serve grilled chicken and carne asada and carnitas. Yummy tortillas and sides and salsas. It's so yummy! We also really like Slater's 50/50. They serve hamburgers that are %50 ground bacon, and %50 ground beef! So yummy! They have lots of other yummy things on the menu too, and a full bar.

So excited, we are going to Slaters 50/50 this weekend for the first time. DH has been wanting to go since he saw them on the Food Network I think it was.

Get the mac n cheese!! It's so yummy! My DH also really likes the Maple Bacon shake. He said it tasted like butter pecan ice cream. Have fun!

Joe's Crab Schak. It cost about the same as eating inside DL but you get more for the money and the food is very good.

We always take a drive over to Knotts Berry Farm for lunch on one of our off days when we head to the beach etc. We order a bucket of chicken, boysenberry pie, biscuits, mashed potatoes etc. from the take out counter. We then head to some shaded tables right outside the side park entrance to eat. Best chicken and pie around!!

You do not need park admission as the take out counter, restaurant, shops etc. are outside park gates. Parking is free right out front but if those spots are filled parking is available free for several hours across the street to the east.

Kids also love going to Benihanas on Ball St. about 3 miles east of Disneyland.

We also make the newly opened Farrells Ice Cream Parlor in Brea about 8 miles from Disneyland a tradition. Its a one of a kind experience not found anywhere else that I'm aware of. Its just like the famous Farrells of the 1970's.

South on Harbor is Baker's Square which is just plain good food. They also have pies that are very good.

Coco's Bakery which is right around there (cant remember exactly off the top of my head) always serves a really great breakfast (they serve MOST (but not all) of the breakfast items all day) in their restaurants (chain local to CA and AZ). My Mom and I usually make at least one stop to a Coco's when we're in CA. Haven't been to the one in Anaheim but all the other one's we've been to were good.

Our favorites:

Mimi's. We usually stay at Hojo's, and have breakfast nearly every day at Mimi's. Dinner a couple of times, too. Moderately priced, good food, huge portions.

Marri's. Got this recommendation here on the DIS. Little hole in the wall Italian restaurant on Katella, near Walnut. Good old fashioned Italian comfort food at very reasonable prices. Great food for what it is.

Buca di Beppo. This is an Italian chain, down Harbor near Embassy Suites. Served family style. Huge portions. Lots of fun.

I know it's going to sound a little weird but we loved the Rix restaurant in the Hilton Anaheim that's attached to the Anaheim trade and convention centre. The food was a little pricey, but it was outstanding, and they have a deal that on certain days kids eat free. Even the kids loved the food there. Best marinara pasta I've ever had. Classy atmosphere, but still a family restaurant.
