GLynis- enjoy your home alone time! You really need it I think!!!!!

Ellen- I hope that you have a better week !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please keep us posted on Mathew, prayers offered in for a little Intervention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am crabby Buddy bought a little pick-up truck for the guys. Right now they have an Elantra but it needs to be replaced. When we brought it for a checkup before the guys got here we found that while it is road worthy and safe it should be replaced. ANyway, Bud got this little thing from the quarry where he works and is much better for the farm but it is FILTHY! I don't think anyone has ever taken a rag to it a vaccuum I have washed the inside twice, sprayed scalding water down the door jams and still not clean! The door jams were making cement. The smell of cleaner and dirt, grease and dust

Then I opened a cabinet for butter spray and sent a big jar of sundae sprinkles all over the floor. They are still there...........my vacuum is outside GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I am done for now but I have to go get some armor-all.

Today was my last official day of work, and I have about 10 ounces of awake left in me, and I decided to pop in for the first time in I don't know how long.

Even though today was my last official day, I still have to go in various times over the next few weeks for things. Ugh.

Also, the past week has been so ugh at work that my body has rebelled and I've had a fever since last night.

Now that I'm done complaining......I miss you all! Can't wait until I sleep and can really start stopping in now and again!

We just have to keep this thread going.

I will miss you all too much if we don't. Hopefully now that things have settled down for me I can pop in every day.

Janice ~ I LOVE the Cubbies. Doug used to laugh at me - He would come home in the afternoon and I would be watching a game. He always said, he bet he was the only DH that his wife watched the ball games. Matthew was just a baby and we watched every day. He loves them as much am me. I even have a White W flag that I sail everytime they win!!

Nan ~ Good luck girl friend. You will win and that dress will be loose on you before you know it.

Lauri ~ Congratulations to Brandon!! And you to Mom!

Jen ~ I am so glad school is out and you can get your health back. You haven't felt good for a long time. I worry about you.

It is going to be a hot one out there today. Probably up in the 90's, but still no humidity so it will be bearable. It isn't the heat that bothers me but the humidity.

I have a Dr. apt in Omaha tomorrow so I won't be around. So I will see you all on Wednesday.

Out..........

Morning all!

Kat - Happy birthday to Kyle! How fast they grow?

Jen - Are you feeling better?

We had a LONG night last night. Timothy began throwing up at about 5 p.m. and didn't stop until 4 a.m. I think he drank some bad milk and ended up with a bad case of food poisoning. His little tummy was cramping so badly. He was curled up in a ball and just screamed with pain. Poor little guy! He's all better this morning, thank heaven, and no one else has come down with it, so I'm going with the food poisoning theory.

I foresee a nap in my future! I'm so tired! Along with Timmy, my legs were jumpy all night long. I think I need to see a doctor about restless leg syndrome! I can't do this much longer without going nuts!

Off to change the laundry. Have a great day, y'all!

Hi Quick check in!

Glynis, I hope Timmy is feeling better and you get some sleep. My legs get really restless when I am tired and ready for bed. Its a wierd feeling. I always say to Tom, "Its time for bed, my legs are acting up".

Lauri, Congrats to Brandon!

Kat, Can't believe Kyle is 22! Glad it was a fun weekend!

I just booked Tom a massage at AKL to give him for Father's Day! I am excited to let him know. Our trip is getting close...I started a diet AGAIN today and want to loose 10 pounds prior.

Tommy got his swing set and loves it! We had1as

I'm IN!!!! Long time, no see (on the DIS)!!!!

Our WDW trip April 27-May 6 was great, even the conference for work was good! Once I got back, I've been swamped with projects. So I am just getting on here since then!!! I did post some pictures on FB of the trip.

I'll just "catch up" a page or two...any more than that is overwhelming....but I've missed you all here.

My boy just finished up 7th grade and he did very well. We are so proud. He can hardly wait for football and has been lifting. He just bench-pressed 200 pounds!! He is almost 6 ft tall and is just 13. I am loving it for the heavy lifting around the house. He is looking forward to relaxing all summer...I am hoping for a compromise of relaxing for him and chores too.

Dinner is likely fish sticks and pierogies...I am trying to use up what I can from our upright freezer so I can defrost it before piling the harvest in it.

It is really good to say Hey to you all. I'll try to be back soon.

And I'm out!

Oh, that poor baby Thank goodness he is better now!

I hear you on the leg thing. I don't have restless leg but I have this weird pain in my legs and hands at night. I hope that the Dr has a solution for you. Mine told me take Motrin

I know that some folks do not like the low carb, high protein thing but we do like Ideal Protein. I would never slip if wine was allowed

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy Moly! You boy is a a big guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marisa and I are going to weigh in today and then I want to go pick up some parts for Buddy if Marisa has time.

I am pretty peeved today. Marisa and Erica have volunteered on committees for several years on Relay for Life. Daniel has pitched in as well, he is a big guy so he always was an escort for money drops, some of those teams made a lot of money the day of the Relay. Anyway, my SIS IL had a team this year and it was a cluster. My kids told her that they were totally committed to the finance aspect the day of so they would not be out there with her. She was annoyed, pestered Kady to buy things from her booth all day til Kady stopped stopping in............Kady walked most of the day in the rain.....and that was a shame. SIL had used books, a wine basket and spaghetti basket and some baked goods. What was she supposed to buy?????????? SIL kitchen is filthy so no one will eat her food.

Anyway, after I left Jeff was walking and stopped by her tent. SIL made some nasty remarks about my kids and the fact they were not at her tent for Meme and that they should give back the inheritance that was left to them through their father. I have warned her about gossiping and saying things about my children, told her to make sure her venom does not make it back to me. She had a habit of complaining to people about Jeff and having it get back to him at his work. Marisa was accosted by a stranger at her work over something SIL said!

I called her and asked about what she said. First she said she was not upset but when I repeated what she said to Jeff we had a conversation. I was so upset I simply told her I had nothing left to say. But I am done. Apparently, she and her friends had been gossiping that my family should be ashamed that they were not coming out to her tent and she was so worked up and mad she made sure that Jeff was told how she felt. She did not even have to courage to talk to Dan and Marisa herself.

I told Marisa and Dan that I am done. They can do whatever they want but unless there is some major fence mending she is not welcome here. You tell me how proud you are of Marisa as a parent, teaching Kady how to give to the community, and how hard Dan and Erica work for a cause they believe in but you trash them all behind their back????????????????? I cannot even tell Buddy because he would rip her throat out.
