Fantasy or Dream HA room 8590....

Is there room for a scooter?

Is there a split bath or one large bath with roll in shower?

Is there a murphy bed, or just a pull down bunk?

Is the verandah larger?

Is it noisy because it is near midship elevators?

Any trouble with your F.E. being disturbed?



All questions being asked by MIL who is driving me crazy, any answers will make me eternally greatful

I don't think a couple of your questions were answered.

The verandah will be bigger than the other Category 4B's. It won't be any deeper...in other words, it won't go out further, but it is longer.

There shouldn't be any noise from the elevators at all, it's far enough down the hall. There will be the normal noise of people walking by, but there really aren't any rooms on the ship where you wouldn't have that.

Thank you for your generous help!! Hoping, eventually, I can get the answers to these questions for her, I told her there have only been about 2 voyages of the Fantasy so she will need to be a bit more patient LOL...

Thank you for the link to the pictures. Hopefully someone who has sailed on the Fantasy in that room can tell me if it has a murphy bed

In looking at the pictures that are in the link that jilljill posted, you can see that there's a ceiling (bunk) bed above the sofa, and over next to the verandah, there IS a murphy bed.

I did see that thank you. those pics are of room 8090 on the dream though so I am hoping someone who sailed in room 8590 on the fantasy can tell me for sure

DM and I stayed in HA 8590 on our DREAM cruise in November 2011. It was a great room!

Yes, there was plenty of room for DM's scooter. We also had a fold up wheelchair.

One large bath with roll in shower. DM really enjoyed the shower bench with hand held shower head.

Is there a murphy bed, or just a pull down bunk?

The room slept five, queen bed, a pull down bunk, murphy bed, and also a sofa bed.

Is the verandah larger?

The verandah was not wider, but was somewhat longer than a regular verandah. Very nice to sit out there for morning coffee.

Is it noisy because it is near midship elevators?

You are not as close to the midship elevators as it looks on the deck plans. No noise or problem in this regard.

Any trouble with your F.E. being disturbed?

None at all. We had a great room steward. He was always close by.

Generally, the rooms on the opposite side of the ship are mirror images. I'm glad Minnie confirmed that.
