First the fronts:

Then the backs:

Awesome shirts!! I need to learn how to make them!! They look great!! Tie-dye shirts sure fit the POP resort! But even if I'm not staying there, I still would like make one for the family.

Just Booked!

Hey all, DD17 and I just booked a quick trip for next month! We'll be at Pop late on August 22, staying through August 27. I thought we were going to miss out on a summer trip this year, but we were able to squeeze it in. I'm so happy! (I need to change my ticker!)

Amazing shirts!!!!! You did a really good job. Your family will be proud to wear them. The tote bags are really neat too.

I did some tshirts this year as well. But I didn't tye dye them. I usually just do lettering and designs you can iron on. You know the easy stuff.
Thanks, I'm sure your tshirts will look great

Hello All - Thanks for the compliments on our tie dyes. I READ the entire tie dye thread. AHHH! Good thing I teach and have free time on my hands in the summer!

Tweedle - Yes, I used 100% cotton shirts, soaked them in that soda ash stuff, and used the recommended dyes (from Michaels or AC Moore) from the post. I'm proud of how they turned out. That being said, I love the look of yours, too! In fact, they remind me of creamsicle pops, so soft and pretty!

They turned out AMAZING! The colors are so vibrant!!

We are 9 days away so I am off to try on-line check in!!

ETA: All checked in!!! The room request options were: ground floor, near transportation, lake view, and then each section (50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's). There was also a spot for pack n play. We were allowed up to 2 choices. I had already indicated with CRO, building 6, lake view, top floor. But I did check 70's (since building 6 is in the 70's) and lake view. Hopefully it works!!

Now off to order the water from Walmart!

Thanks, I hadn't done tye dyes at home so I didn't want to invest a lot incase they didn't turn out. I bought the blended tee's at the Dollar Store for about $3 each (60% cotton) and a cheaper dye kit from Walmarts for $3 kit of 2 colors so I only had about $30 invested to make the 6 shirts. I thought they came out decent for a first time, so I went out and bought the 3 other shirts 100% and tried again. From looking at yours, it's obvious the dyes DO make a difference - I prefer the brillant colors and yours look great but I'll still look forward to wearing ours

And I finished the window streamers JavArmy posted, can't wait to hang them from our window at POP and it won't be long now

Air matresses

So after reading the information about getting an air mattress I have decided to get one for my 8 yr. old. I plan on having it mailed to my mom who in turn will bring it with her to PoP. She is driving from Fla. we are flying from NY.

Does anyone have a suggestion on which would be the best self inflating air mattress to purchase. I was thinking of going through Walmart or Amazon. Which one do you recommend?

Does anyone know if the rumor is true that Pop has moved the DSAs? I was reading on another thread that the DSA just outside of the main building and the one at the Petals Bar have been removed and replaced with one by the old Goofy Jets. Any confirmation? This would please DH and me, since walking through the main building DSA on our way to and from the 50s was always a bit bothersome.

Thanks!

Yeah, I read that too. I don't know if the 2 have been removed but the one near the old Pop Jets has been there for a long time.
