Help us get excited for a wdw trip

We are planning on driving to fl. 17hrs+ (never drove there b4). We don't have any children. Would we fencesitters still have fun at Disney???

What attractions do you recommend? You can be specific w/ rides, restaurants, etc. It would be very helpful.

Here's what worked best for me: I purchased a Birnbaum's Guide to Disney (they have a specific one for adult travelers) and inhaled it word for word. then armed with that background, I used these boards to get to layer of detail that only those who are there or have been there can add. It's a bit overwhelming to start from scratch, so pick a park each day, add dining options either in park or close to park (example, in MK, you could dine at any of the lagoon deluxe resorts or in AK, go to AKL for dining in the evening)click on dining and menus to look over selections. I would also suggest one tour: either Keys to the Kingdom in MK or Segway in EPCOT. these are spectacular

I would recommend Mama Rosa's at HS. It is a hidden gem. (no really - it is hidden at the back of the park!) I had a solo lunch there and it was really nice. The wait staff were attentive but not bothersome.

Boma (AKL) is another favourite of mine too for any meal. A really lovely selection of unique and delicious dishes as well as more trraditional fare. The AKL itself is a site to see and the gift store is a treat to browse.

Have a great time.

I have a ADR for Mama Rosa's on May 19th. It is my first time there, I will let you know what I think. I am going solo.

I really like The Garden Grill in The Land in Epcot. I would recommend this place. They have great food! All cooked fresh because all of the food served in this resturaunt is harvested at Epcot. If you eat here, ride Living with the Land (just under this resturaunt in The Land) before you eat there. It will help you appreciate your meal more. They show you how they harvest all of the food served there. You will have a great time!

I love most all of the rides, and as for restaurants, we usually do not spend a ton of time eating so we miss out on all the shows, parades, rides, fireworks, etc. However, we really enjoy 50's Prime Time Cafe in HS, but be sure to get an ADR.
Have Fun!
