Mini epcot report for a 'non epcot lover'
So yesterday went back to Epcot to give it some time, which really wasn't time because I had to work. So it got from 11-6. But I really went in and tried not to judge because to me Epcot is soooo boring!
While Epcot isn't my fave park ( atleast not yet) I do have a better appreciation for it. And will be taking the kids there to do a day and we will have a blast! What I got done/saw Build you own coaster ( next time I will make it more intense. This was awesome) Test track Mission space ( will do less intense version with kiddos) Club cool ( pretty cool!) Nemo WS- I enjoyed the Mexican boat ride.. I met the three caballeros! The band came by as I was meeting them and they made me dance with them lol Road the boat in Norway? Malestorm. I wasn't a fan. Just didnt do it for me The drummers.. Pretty cool. I must say! I was slightly disappointed on Mulan as well. I didn't think she looked like Mulan or maybe I forgot what Mulan looks like I meet goofy! My fave and Alice! Who was so awesome. Looked like her and probably one of the best interactions. She just was 'so Alice' I really thought she was with Alice ( but wait she is right?!)I didn't get to try any fun food or drinks ( work booo! and I already before I went) so all I had was icecream which was still awesome lol! Also really took in all the flower festival before its gone. All in all was a pretty awesome day! I skipped some things because I KNOW the kids will like that stuff ( turtle talk, all the hands on stuff, figment) I'm ready now... Come on sept

Way, way back when I assumed that Epcot would be my least favorite park and it is by far my MOST favorite park. Leaving tomorrow to stay at BWV so I can just stroll in and out of the International Gateway. HEAVEN.

I kind of get where you are coming from though. I get a sick stomach from most of the movie attractions (the 360 degree movies are the worst ), so I can understand where Soarin might affect you where the coaster with a much more limited "view" might be OK.I rode the Simpsons back when it was the Back to the Future ride and it did make me ill. I haven't tried the Simpsons because of that. |
