I should be doing my 90-day Disney dance today, but it's kid of hard being happy today. We lost a good friend and neighbor of 15 years suddenly yesterday. And, to make matters worse (if that is possible), he just celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday and died on Sunday, Father's Day. Prayers and thoughts are with his wife and children.

You can count on me! However, I probably won't be doing the fastpass+. I find it hard to plan my days down to the minute like that. Of course, maybe I will try it for one day, just to test the water.

I want to thank everyone for their messages concerning our recent loss. We said goodbye yesterday at a beautiful service. And, of course, I totally lost it when they played taps. I both hate and love that music.

We don't plan like that either... but we do get the occasional FP. Just wondering how it'll work. If it's true that Disney resort guests can pre-book and then we'd be stuck with nothing?

I am wondering about this too.; why would anyone put out that kind of money for tickets knowing that they would be excluded from the big attractions? I would think that Disney will need to hold a certain number of FP's for the big attractions for distribution to those who have not pre-booked. For those of us who buy military tickets, if we do not purchase tickets in advance, there is the possibility that we would be locked out of the pre booking for FP+ at 180 days. Of course I'm just speculating. Perhaps it will all work out in the end, but who knows? It is bad enough making ADR's and trying to schedule your vacation days around them, but throwing FP+ reservations into the mix is something that I would refer to as 'extreme vacation planning'; seriously, how could you ever relax?
