Disney Movie Reward Point Value - The DIS Discussion Forums

Has anyone seen or figured out how much Disney Movie Reward points are worth? I set that for 1000 points you can get a $10 Disney Gift Card. I can't believe that it would be literally 100 points equal $1. Just seeing if I might be wasting points buying the Gift Card and not using the points on more unique items.

Rewards points aren't designed to be a good cash value, they're used to provide incentives for Disney junkies who buy Disney movies all the time. But yeah, I would recommend saving up points for the more unique items.

They added a 3 night stay at Art of Animation for 22K points. I've been saving for a couple years and redeemed for a couple of items and I've got less than 2000.

I didn't notice this I had to go check it out. BUT sadly I am only at 8620 points.
