Geek alert
You may have seen some threads about people having trouble reaching the boards. A lot of the issues were coming from users that had Road Runner in Orlando
We had our ISP confirm that it was working through the firewall and we had several users contact Road Runner support but nobody could come up with an answer. Then I looked at the address again. They had assigned us 108.166.45.255 a completely legal address but old or poorly program equipment at certain ISP's could not handle it because of .255 being a broadcast address on certain subnets Anyway I've changed it to 108.171.164.208 and all should be good now

We had that happen at the ISP I work for.. we handed out .0 and .255 via the dhcp server and we had a ton of customers with issues.
In the end I believe we stopped issuing them to stop causing customer issues. |
