Family Activities

Hi - We will be sailing on the Dream on a 4 night cruise. Looking at past navigators we have found a few family activities in the D Lounge or Evolution or other locations that would fall in between the show and dinner for us (First show and Late dinner seating) like the Family Dance Party, etc.

Is it feasible to make it to these and back in time for dinner?

I think those in between show and dinner times are much easier for people with the second seating to make. The second seating for dinner starts at 8:15pm. If you are a few minutes late (especially if you have no table mates outside your immediate family, no biggie).

On the other hand, trying to attend those shows after first seating for dinner gets you to the second show right before it starts. For the popular shows, it is hard to find seats together (especially if you have more than a couple of people in your party).

Yes - that's what they are there for.

The great thing about late dinner is that you have a reserved table/seat to go to after the "inbetween" show/activity
whereas
if you were going to the Walt Disney Theater after the inbetween show, you would have a harder time finding your "perfect" seats - you will find seat, just maybe not where you would like to be.

Showing up for dinner early is a waste of your time. If it say 8:15 show up at 8:15. Getting earlier does not allow you in any sooner. Your table is assigned anyway. It took us 2 nights to figure that one out!

We always eat at late sitting and we go to esrly show snd then to whatever family activity follows. It is all timed so that the 730 family show ends right at dinner time.
