Good morning everyone. I have been MIA lately. Busy with work and girl scouts and fighting for Drew's medical nutrition.(Insurance won't pay for it because he can drink it and it doesn't have to go down a tube(which would be covered))

Well I need a little encouragment and knew I could get it from all of you.
On Saturday we are doing a bake sale at the post office in town for my Girl Scout troop. I keep having nightmares that no one will show up and buy anything. We are doing it to earn money toward our Hershey park trip. Tell me it is going to be ok.

So far I have made 7 dozen cookies, 3 mini banana breads, and lots of chocolate covered pretzels. I have to make the cakes next.

Good Luck. Saturday should be good. I know if I was out, I would pick up an extra dessert for Easter. Have you thought of cake pops? Those seem to be the latest rage. I would probably try to make some carrot cakes???

In any case, good luck!! Just remember, whatever money you make is closer to the goal than you were before.

Oh, Cindy! You will do great! We're trying to come up with ideas too, so I'm crossing my fingers that you do well, so we can just follow in your footsteps.

Don't sweat it! You will have a great day! It looks like the weather in NJ is going to be fabulous this weekend, which means lots of people will be out and about.

Well it was a great success. We made 167.50 in 3 hours. It was great. My other leader made 6 packs of cupcakes and they went. She made them so cute. Some looked like easter baskets and others looked like chicks. My chocolate covered pretzels went also. The weather was great also.
Unfortunately I was getting sick at work and stood there for 3 hours after working all night and then was down and out for easter. It was worth it. The girls had a great time holding up a sign and getting people on main street to pull into the post office. It far exceeded my expectations.

We need to come up with another activity to make a little more money to cover the trip.
